  1. See, perfect example of how differently we all experience scents; the citrus popped right out at me OOB! I think it is more subdued in wax...I am still curing my tester so can't comment yet on throw... I am glad it threw for ya 8-Gran-Ones!!!
  2. OMG, I am in love with that one! I told Bert I think I will rename it...the citrus is sooo predominent, but with that woodsy/piney bottom note... a very different, layered scent, IMO...I was thinking Citrus Grove or Citrus Glen??? edited to add: I think it's called Aspen Forest, in case someone's looking for it on her site...
  3. I store mine in cello now; took the plunge and bought some finally, and I feel safer now when they're stored awhile... I sell them in cello, too.
  4. Coconut Cream Pie-KY (yum yum!, my currant fav!) Sweet Potato Pie-KY Chestnuts and Brown Sugar-JS Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies-DS Lemon Biscotti Pie-Bert's Pumpkin Cheesecake-AH/RE Pumpkin Cornbread-BW
  5. Wow, sounds really cool, no ideas for ya, just wanted to mention that!!!
  6. Welcome, and good luck with your new adventure! P.S. My kids hate my candles and this board, too! lol! They better get used to it, this board is as addictive as anything else!!
  7. I agree with the others, I'm sure she'll say it's fine...
  8. My folks were so used to my individual tarts they were kinda put off by the clam shells when I tried them briefly, and honestly, I could SMELL the plastic after I poured them, never knew if it was me and my nose or what, but they just didn't fly for me... When I poured straight par tarts, they didn't smear at all in the cello bags, it was great, those suckers were strong and held up nicely! But I am using KY's 50/50 blend now, and you're right, you do have to be much more carefull handling them once they're bagged... The upside is no re-pour!!!
  9. You might want to check with the supplier, I'm sure she'd have a good idea as to how well they'd do a yr. later for you...she's great to work with... HTH!
  10. http://www.daystarsupplies.com/ She has some Serendipitiy oils now....
  11. Shucks....oh well, like we've all said, there sure are worse addictions!!!
  12. I can probably get a sample of Peak's when I order some of their Botanical Orchard and Nectar....lsbennis (Linda) sent me a few of her gorgeous jars and I fell absolutely in LOVE with this scent too!!!! lol.....when does the madness end!!!! :rolleyes2
  13. That's cute! I LOVE LOVE this scent in my 50/50 tarts, but it had an odd smell for me in my 50/50 container blend, I don't know if I should cut back or not....I hate when the odd oil smells different when it's burning than in a melt...I do love it and it's popular so far, so I am going to try again w/ a lower amnt....
  14. Thanks for the tips, everyone, I did dig into the container and found that you can scoop it out as Brenda said, and plop it in. Haven't played with it yet, maybe tonight...I wil report back with my findings and opinions...I am anxious to check this out and see how it does for me! I use a 50/50 like Brenda does, BTW...
  15. OK, I just got some, and would like to know how folks melt it since it's like 65' in my house, and it's solid as a rock in it's container... then do you refrigerate it after you're done with it to keep it from going rancid? How many times is it ok to melt it and let it go solid again, without it going bad?? Thanks!!
  16. Peak's is in no way a light scent IMO...it is kick butt strong for me... I've had a few more but haven't tested them yet...to me it was an oil I didn't care for OOB, but man, it was a good, strong candle when I poured it!!! My vote goes to Peak!
  17. Thanks for your replies, guys....I don't have a problem in the world trying a sample of this, and of course a few others, from CS!!!
  18. Yea, cutey, I KNOW I have a few ladies who'd love for you to find more!!!! LOL!!!
  19. I wicked up one size and cut back a wee bit on the oil, it's a keeper....
