  1. love them! they are all great like normal
  2. Gen Wax is down the street from me they are decent, handy not to pay shipping for sure they have good basic scents, a number of pillar molds and other things what exactly are you looking to buy? the only issue is that it can be a tad far from LAX, but if he is flying into Burbank Airport it would only be a few miles away. I can't get their site to load either today but I am sure you can call them. genwax.com they are in North Hollywood, California General Wax & Candle Wholesale Address: 6863 Beck Ave, North Hollywood, CA 91605 Phone:(818) 765-5800
  3. love the colors on the first batch they have to smell great too!
  4. those have to smell wonderful I am such a sucker for coconut stuff
  5. I am loving all these 2nd pour ice candles I think I am going to have to give those a go I too wasn't impressed by the ice candle when I first made one, though tech that was the candle that got me going on pillars cause they look so cool thanks for posting your picture it looks great!
  6. ha I know 30 lbs is a ton he doesn't do things simple, lol I think he likes working with steel the best, though even he said if he builds another one he would try a different material to make it with. Hey as long as I get straight cuts I am happy, the mytar(spelling?) box cutter and I didn't get along very well by the way this is one strong scent, I have 1 bar sitting at my desk at work to show around and you can smell it from across the room.
  7. ha it does look pretty close this one sure is like a tank cause he made it out of steel when he shipped it to me it was 30 lbs! I get a good work out lifting up.
  8. A perfect blend of fruits that screams summer. Sweet oranges, ripe strawberries, sliced lemons, lime juice, grapefruits and red raspberries. A wonderfully unique, strong scent. I figured since it had about every fruit in it might as well put about every color in it too!
  9. I love crackling firewood from WSP it is a blend of Woods, Raspberry, Vanilla and everyone loves it if you have those other scents around might try that mix
  10. thought I would show pictures from start to finish for a change Summer Medley from Indiana Candle Supplies colors are BC neon gel tones, and Southern Soapers neon oxides in the pot swirl in the mold swirl step 2 for swirl cutting the soap with the cutter my dad made for me all finished!!
  11. I am a huge fan of the Vanilla Stabilizer it sure has helped make many bars way more appealing. I can't tell you how many "those look gross" comments I got when I started making soap when most of the soaps were brown. I know many people think brown might be more natural looking but everyone I showed mine to were not digging brown unless it was a scent that should be brown.
  12. I got asked for this scent to be made into a candle for a present. My local supplier use to carry it (genwax.com) but they did a big remodel and removed a bunch of scents including that one. If someone has the scent on hand I have an order to send to someone. Or if someone knows a place that carries it still?
  13. thanks! I too am not huge on rustic ones but this client loves those so I made a number of them for her. I have to say I really like the crackle chunk one myself(pumpkin pie), I think the crackle added a nice touch.
  14. just a few random pillars I finished in the last 1-2 months posted some of these on the BC boards but I thought I would share some here as well. range of scents from pumpkin pie to apple
  15. colors are Shrieking Violet, and Electric Blue from Southern Soapers
  16. hmm it is working now maybe my website provider was down for a few?!?!!?
  17. what a yummie summer type scent this one is did set up a little faster then I like but still a good one don't mind the edges on the cut ones I still need to bevel them
  18. I use http://www.naturaloils.com/ for most oils(not all I use) mainly cause they are local so you can't beat not paying shipping prices. That can make higher looking oil prices better cause they aren't + shipping. I got my shea butter at BC before but my tub is almost gone going to have to decide where to get my new tub from.
  19. I have the same thing happen you want to hear how things go but I don't want to go and ask them either I get some that write back at times which is nice. Another put a repeat order in so that means she liked the stuff other then that I hear nothing I agree that we need to take no news as good news I guess
  20. http://www.elance.com/p/landing/buyer.html that might be a nice place to shop prices some
  21. actually it is a Boy that is going to be named Wyatt I guess they are having 2 separate parties cause they don't want some guests being around other guests. I have no clue why really. I think honestly the girls mom wanted to plan a party and the girls grandma wanted to plan one too. The girl having the baby doesn't even get any input into the parties she is just showing up she said. she doesn't like jasmine either, lol
