  1. another one to check into is the car magnet signs I think those are more the way to go and the direction I am leaning towards. that would also give you the option of removing it if you wanted to.
  2. lol I hear what you are saying this was a total experiment batch. I used my x-mas money to get the supplies so I figure if I never sell a bar, oh well at least I tried it out finally.
  3. sex in the shower smells like Hawaiian Punch more or less I do like the smell of it and I let a number of people smell it from the bottle when I first got it and they really liked it I am working on coming up with a more user friendly name for it though The beneath the stars was more grape smelling but now that I have soaped it kind of smells like BC pear glaze. Need to see how it goes after it cures for a tad(only on day 1).
  4. oh I love pail baskets! those look great!
  5. http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ that is where the Dirt FO is from when were slow at my work last year I would sit and read all the FO and their discriptions and that one just kept standing out. I just cp soaped Sex in the Shower(did great!) and Beneath the stars(accelerated trace but smells good) from the same company.
  6. yes it smells just like dirt my dad thought it was an interesting scent he said nothing beats the smell of fresh turned dirt. I am going to send a bar to him so he can tell me if it is a dead ringer for his idea of fresh turned dirt.
  7. I was also thinking of pushing it as a spa bar like your chance to have a spa day at home?!?!?
  8. here is my new creation I am calling it mud bath. It has Moroccan Red Clay, black and brown oxides from southern soapers, and the FO is Dirt from WSP. I know it is a little different but you can't be afraid to try new things right?
  9. those look great! really love the blue one with the white little chunks on top
  10. mine is still staying the same as far as I can tell will post a new picture after some more time passes maybe it has to do with the recipe?
  11. good point I had thought to look into as one of my sisters friends has a taxidermy shop and has a flow of hunters. So I was thinking about trying out a hunter soap but I think I will pass on it.
  12. I have the dirt FO already I was looking for the EO to use with it maybe pretty sure the Anise is the one I heard before thanks!
  13. what is the EO that can be used to help cover human scent like if you were going to make a hunter type bar of soap? I heard it once but can't for the life of me remember it
  14. everything looks great! keep us posted on your results with the vanilla stabilizer
  15. sorry if the picture isn't working just check back and it usually is up later I have been having provider issues recently
  16. it does stink! and the soap doesn't smell good for the first 1-2 days but then poof it turns to the pink sugar scent
  17. duh forgot to say that about 3 days if the color changes anymore I will post an update but I have faith this will be what they stay as!
  18. I had heard on here it made some crazy yellow/orange color so I figured might as well go for the crazy color and I used the neon pink
  19. thought I would post my results with the pink sugar and the new Bittercreek vanilla stabilizer I know I had asked around for pictures of others results but didn't really get a reply so I thought I would share mine. sooo much better then another brown batch of soap! swirl is neon pink without FO and stabilizer. (don't mind all the other soaps I took a fast picture while it was on the curing rack) going to name it Electric Sugar I think
  20. maybe your luck is like mine and it is illegal for stores to sell lye in California I even had a plumber friend try to get me some from his supply stores but they were the ones who said they can't sell it here. I am stuck with mail order bittercreek.com carries it, also soap guild suggests these vendors http://soapguild.org/vendors.php?Search=Product&&Criteria=310
  21. looks great! I love sand candles. That reminds me I should start making some again as I still have a huge bucket of beach sand
  22. I thought it would be nice to post the Green Apple one cause when I was thinking about making it I couldn't really find much info on it So I am reporting soaped pretty good, no color change, the scent is a tad light but still nice.
  23. I just placed an order from southern soapers for some neon ones as well as brown and black. Should be here soon and I can't wait to make more soap once they are here!
