    Looks awesome. If you don't mind me asking what kind of label do you use on the oval portion cups? I have tried a few different ones and none of them look as good as yours do!

    If you use a high % (say 50% or more) of OO, it will most likely be soft for alot longer than a normal recipe. Fresh OO soap makes snot when wet! My high OO soaps are ready in 6 weeks but I prefer to wait 8-10 weeks.

    My best guess is it's not lye... it's stearic. That's a wee bit cool IMHO to be soaping with PKO. I get them on occasion too if I get my temps too low.

    Woohoo.. I can finally post to one of these!!! After working 14+hours yesterday, I needed some relaxation. I made Tootsie Tingle Foot Cream. No matter HOW many I make, it is ALWAYS out of stock! I also made some wax "paw" prints for a friend of mine and a shampoo bar for a friend at work. Now it's dishes and laundry. AND I just ordered some lye to ATTEMPT to make liquid soap.:rolleyes2

    Was curious ... how many of us order from Brambleberry? Because IF alot of us do, maybe a CoOp would be in order for this gathering. We might be able to save some on shipping and if some of us get the same oils, we could order a bigger size.
