  1. I know every job has its downfalls...but jeez..i feel i'm getitng hit kinda hard here. I got my carpel tunnel fixed in one hand 2 years ago and holding off getting the other one done as I now have tendanitis in the wrist. Seems the more I rest it, the worse it gets. My specialist doesnt think they can do anything in the wrist since there is so much bone there. Just wandering if anyone else expereincing these kind of things and how do you deal? This is my only source of income and being a single mom on top of that makes it very hard. Im so frustrated right now.
  2. Whenever I do a show that requires proof of insurance, I only let me insurance agent fax or mail them the info. that way if they need additional information they can go straight to the agent. Ive never hears of all those condistions, but I cant beleive they have time to look all into that much info. I just say let your insurance agent take care of it.
  3. Has anyone got their own and fixed them instead of buying a replacement from the manufacturer?
  4. I see the problem is, as with consignment. The business can close its doors and you will never see your product again and you never get paid. I've known this happen to many people, so just a gamble you will have to take in this economy.
  5. no doubt someone will spray it on white sheets. I dont spray mine, i just use a colored bottle
  6. My sons is 8 and says he loves Root Beer dill pickle strawberry he has a root beer room spray I made him and he sprays his room with it after he cleans it.
  7. FOr some reason, i need to align all my labels on my program just slightly to the right to get them centered. Maybe try that. I use printshop
  8. have you tried a local restaurant store? I know one near me carries all different kinds of cupcake liners.
  9. I agree with that quote. As a store owner, i had over $50,000 tied up in MY money! As much as you want every item to sell, you really push your stuff you have that make you the most of $ and what you have the most invested in. While some can make it, it will take some time to find you niche. I think you are better off trying to find a small independant store. I took very little in my store consignment and charged 20%. They set the prices and I paid them once a month.
  10. I get them here and there. I get ones that ask how much are my candles. I eel all my information is on my website. I just ifnore them, especially if its from a generic email account like yahoo or gmail.
  11. putting them in the freezer will absolutly cause them to crack. Sounds like you are letting them in to long. Either let them air dry or reduce the time.Could be a number of reasons like the air temp in your freexer is colder or if you are repouring right away after its beeen in the freezer, that could cause it too
  12. I tried it a few years ago and I just couldnt get it to work right. Best of luck!
  13. I remember my first real wolesale order. It's a memory that sticks with me forever and I will nevver forget. The man walked by my trade show booth. Stopped and said, I want to place an order! He was so excited, I tried to hold my excitmenet until the show was over. LOL congrats and many more to come I hope!
  14. I round out and calculate and extra .01 per candle for UV and dye
  15. Yeah I agree, probably got too many people asking. If your interested in learning..I can cut you a deal and will only ask a mere $25,000 , heck for that I will come show you in person.
  16. Just rmember most likely they will all bunch up together as the wind blows the water. I seen weddings like that before that were in ponds and they all huddled together. My thoughts are like 20-30, but i have no idea. Below is a link about securing them so they dont move. http://www.thathomesite.com/forums/load/entertain/msg011536232353.html?11
  17. Actrually want to go to a movie and get some popcorn. My son wanted to lick it.
  18. Buttered Popcorn....OMG everyone loves this...smells like the liquid butter at the movie theaters Licorice...I loved it, but had a few people said it didnt smell like it, I thought it was right on. Dill Pickle..smelled good, but seemed very weak in the candle, maybe it will cure better Cola...the smell actually changed a bit as it cured. Smelled at first like lemon pledge, now smells more like lemon coke
  19. Gonna order some warmers from Levines so...looks like I better make some wickless candles...ugh. But I do have a bunch of 16oz jars I dont use anymore and lots of soy and paraffin..thinking I might mix the 2 together. So how much are you charging for these things?
  20. I wont fill anyones jars, however I would fill my own for personal use. Quality in jars isnt what it used to be. However if you think about it...how many years we use jars over and over again to can food, and they reach over 200 degrees I would just say use at your own risk.
  21. that looks way to clean and organizded time to mess it up
  22. I get, "is the bottom of the candle scented too or just the top"? i dont get that one either.....
  23. I sell Lavender year round, and tons of Lilac in the spring, other than that i cant sell any other florals.
  24. DO you make all these candles?..I get this when they come into my store....no, all the equipment here is just for show I dont smell anything! ...as they smell the bottom of the jar...um..take off the lid!!!
  25. I wouldnt accept paypal for intl orders. Valid c/c only with billing and shipping addresses.
