  1. Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Leather, Baby Powder, Rose...mostly Florals. They also trigger migraines for me.
  2. not at all...the CBL 125 is comparable to 4630 so it's not messy and greasy.
  3. I emailed him and asked if I could possibly get a slab instead of pellets and haven't heard back. I'm having good results with his tart wax...the only thing(s) I do not like are the dimples and the brittleness. I did pour a test batch with a little CBL 125 added to it. (3oz TCS Wax + 1 oz CBL 125) It didn't smooth it out completely but it's definitely better. Gonna try another ratio when I find time.
  4. Is there such a thing????
  5. I did ask him and he said it was a paraffin wax.
  6. I've been ordering from Loren since 2005!! I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon.
  7. I'm half tempted to email him and ask if I can get a slab as opposed to the pellet/chips.
  8. yes I did...I poured at 175, 170, 165, 160 and 150 even. The throw is great! I just hate dimples. LOL I plan on adding a bit of container wax to try and smooth it out. I also ordered a couple of his clamshells wax melts and it's a completely different wax. Not brittle like the current tart wax he sells. It's the consistency of his old wax that so many of us loved!! Is Loren withholding the old wax from us????
  9. Thanks for this post...mine just died on me too, after 8 years of loyalty...lol I'll be ordering the 8000 as well. Merry Christmas!!
  10. RE calls this "Scoopable Wax Tarts" and they have a Tutorial on how to make it. http://library.rusticescentuals.com/scoopable-tart-wax-tutorial/
  11. I just received 10 lbs of 3020 and 10 lbs of 3022. I emailed with them and they sent the samples right out. I believe it was Melanie I emailed with. Very nice lady!
  12. I take a hammer straight to it and clobber it into submission...ermmmm...pieces...yeah, that's it...pieces
  13. CS, BCN, RE, NG, CW, ICS, The Candlemakers Store and The Candle Source country bee, yes you sure can. It's a great wax. It's a hard paraffin that comes in slabs
  14. :laugh2::laugh2: like...hello...is this thing on
  15. 415 can be very finicky but it's a great wax. I always had very good luck with ECO wicks. CD's did well too but they smoked too much for my liking and I also didn't care for the burnt wick smell when the candle wasn't lit.
  16. I agree with everything stated here it's a great wax...it does have the wet spot issue but it's honestly not something most people even notice. I switched to 4786 because it's closest to my old beloved TCS wax *insert evil stare directed at Loren* I wish he'd bring the old wax back!!!!
  17. Oh how I've missed this forum!! Thank you Alan!!!!
  18. Oh geez...well big fat DOH...shoulda had me coffee before attempting to look up stuffs :embarasse Thanks
  19. I checked NG but couldn't find it. :\ I got the ounce from my friend and it smells like Orange Pomander to me. Not sure if I'm impressed. LOL
  20. I haven't tried NG's but I can tell you that CS' will knock you off your feet. Definitely has both the Orange and Chili Peppers notes when melting/burning My customers love it. Personally I am not sure whether to love or hate it. It's unique.
  21. I used to use Almond Rum Cake from JS but it was...almost Amaretto-ish.
  22. I already did and couldn't find anything but I found someone who has some of it and is sending me 1 oz
