  1. Beautiful soaps! I'm envious that you can replicate the swirls. :smiley2:
  2. Sometimes I get rubbery mp soap when it's been overheated. I used to melt the soap in the microwave, and sometimes didn't check up on the soap until it was too late. I haven't experienced my mp not hardening. (It's been awhile since I've done a project with a mp base.) :embarasse
  3. I used 25% cso and did get DOS. However, I am wondering the DOS is because I added the powdered milk to the lye water (instead of adding the powdered milk to the water before adding the lye). :undecided
  4. Beautiful soaps. (Far more fun than yard work.) I really like the swirls on the first soap - it kinda reminds me of the waves in wood grain. The second one reminds me of marble.
  5. Too bad I can't smell the bars thru the computer screen. Beautiful salt bars.
  6. Beautiful soaps. I really like the way the gold veins stand out in the Haiku and Breathless soaps.
  7. Great looking soaps. I really like the chunk one.
  8. Beautiful, unique candles. I hope that you raised more than enough for the vet.
  9. Here's a picture of my 3 oil soap for the swap (Lard, coconut and rbo) fragranced with ginger-lime. It was the first time that I've tried doing a whipped soap. Part of it was a swirl-in-the-pot (not shown because of homeliness), but the part I tried to swirl in the slab mold turned out okay.
  10. Congratulations and welcome to the fun, addicting world of soap.
  11. Great-looking soap. Makes me glad that I'm in the swap.
  12. Beautiful colors. Looking forward to seeing the soap cut.
  13. I'm making a whipped soap for a swap. It surprised me how much volume the whipping actually took.
  14. Beautiful bath cakes. I'm envious of your skill.
  15. Your soap looks like pretty icing.
