    Hi welcome to your new addiction lol. Read Read & Read these forums. I have learned tons and new ideas and tips from these guys. This kind of hobbie requires patience, exspecially to make a great/safe candle. I never needed a book to learn to make candles all i need is my computer lol. Take your time measure everything, be patient, and test test test. Good luck and feel free to ask what you like:cheesy2:

    Yea i have always had luck finding them that cheap. The only problem is unlike ordering them online you can't buy a dozen of the the same animal at a yard sale like you can online. There a cheap way to practice with and then when you get the hang of it you'll come across some really nice animals at yardsales or flea markets,ect. Have fun

    Local flea markets.... some dollar stores, yard sales. I dont buy them online, Ive been lucky enough to find them at these places and spend .25 to .50 for them, Dip them and decorate and sell them fromm 10.00 and up.

    I dip anything lol.. But i do them as ordered so i wouldn't be able to tell you how many i bring to shows ect. But for the christmas ones i would suggest .. snowman- jack frost, any kind of snowy scents reindeers - hmm:confused: maybe some spicy scents (reindeers are brown, so go with me here lol) santa- i would think maybe ribbon candy or something of that nature. Sorry i couldn't be much help. Let us know what you choose:cheesy2:

    I dont make any kind of doll furniture so i cant help you there.As far as doll furniture, i sell the american girl doll furniture. Which is pretty big for barbie:rolleyes2 Wish i was that crafty though:cheesy2:

    My very first home show was at my house, then my bestfriend booked off me then so on and so forth. Yes it is a good idea to have maybe some coffee and maybe danish or even just some pepperoni and cheese . Every house that i demoe'd at , they always had alittle something for people to snack on. Just don't go overboard, your trying to make money so alittle snacks and coffee/soda is perfect. The pamphlet is also a great idea.     I dont see why you can't, I know it will seperate no matter what but if your just using it to boil with your water to bring some fragrance into the room then i guess it wouldn't matter if it seperated. But wait until some more experienced people chime in to be on the safe side.

    If it has turned and now stinks then IMO i would chuck it....Maybe more experienced soapers can give you better advice. Good luck at your home show, i have one on the 10th.
