  1. You will need to use a thermometer unless you are soaping at room temp.
  2. I am looking to make some bath bombs for Christmas gifts. I am wondering if anyone has a tried and true recipe? I want to make round, ball shaped bombs. I saw that some people use the ornaments from Michael's, but I am open to ordering a mold from a good company. Thanks so much in advance! santalol -Jamie
  3. Thanks, Meridith, should I up the castor to 15% and put the OO down to 35%? -Jamie
  4. The "dew" is gone...maybe just condensation? Everything else came out fabulous...I am very impressed with your mold...it was so easy to use and clean. Thanks, Paul! I will try and post a pic soon. -Jamie
  5. I am looking for a couple of great fo in manly scents for CP soap. Thanks! -Jamie
  6. I plan on making a two pound batch of soap using NG Baby Bee Buttermilk. Their website states that there is no acceleration in CP and only a slight discoloration: I want to add a some ground oats...Would two TBS at trace be adequate? What type of oats can I use? Also...(I know lots of questions here) can I add 1 or TPS of honey? Here is the recipe I am going to use: Lard 30% Coconut 15% Shea 5% Castor 10% Olive 40% Soap Calc Results: Hardness 33 Cleansing 10 Condition 63 Bubbly lath. 19 Creamy lath. 31 Iodine 63 Okay one more ?...when I use soapcalc 9. So I need to change the lye concentration to a specific % say 33% or just leave it as is? Thanks so much ladies!!!!! -Jamie
  7. No problem...hope that was what u were looking for. -J
  8. I made my soap yesterday and put it in the mold overnight. I peeked at it this morning and it seems to have firmed up; however, there is what looks like dew on the top. Will this go away? As of right now it has been in the mold for 12 hours. My soap is in a wooden TOG log mold with the cover on. Thanks for your input! -Jamie
  9. I will for sure, I just poured into my mold after attempting swirls with purple dyed soap. We will see....I am very excited!!!
  10. I just got NG spearmint and I really like it, although I have not tried any other to compare it to. -Jamie

  12. If so, where can I find it? Thanks so much. I tried searching scentforum.com and used the search on this site. Thanks, Jamie
  13. I will...I think I am going to use the room temperature CP method you did in your last tutorial. My first scent attempt is going to NG Raspberry Vanilla. We'll see what happens! Thanks for your input!!!
