  1. Merlot from Tennessee is great- a strong thrower for us in c-3
  2. Thank you Sliver, I ordered a sample of the Patchouli, along with $60 of other samples. Enabler!
  3. We mix Peaks with Millcreek's Groovy Patchouli. I like the smell of Peak's, but could not get it to throw as well as I would like, MC is super strong, but could not wick it to save my soul. We mix the 2 of them and wick up and it seems to work well for us, without spending the high$$$ for Patchouli right now.
  4. I have an organza bag filled with the beads that has been sitting here for a few months that still has good scent to it. I think those are what I'm going to do instead of the ornies, they would be easier too.
  5. The ones that threw best in our 415 soy were: Apples & Maple Bourbon Lime Cooler* my favorite Cranberry Marmalade Fig Forest Golden Rose Pumpkin Souffle Sage & Pomogranete Violet Lime Another good supplier for good soy FO is MillCreek www.mcsoywax.com WE haven't tried one from there that hasn't thrown well.
  6. Curiousity got the best of me and I had to look it up on B&Bworks website: Top notes are Mardarin, tangerine, orange etc,; middle notes of lily of the valley, magnolia blossom, gardenia, tuberose, etc,; base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla & musk. It sounds heavenly. Come on DUPE.
  7. They are absolutely beautiful. I can't imagine having the patience to create them.
  8. Tennessee's Pumpkin Souffle was very strong in our C-3
  9. I don't soap, but Millcreek has a good lemongrass.
  10. Top Sellers: Amish Harvest Blueberry Muffin Cool Citrus Basil Coconut Banana Blast ( we renamed Monkey Farts) Patchouli (also the easiest Patchouli I found to wick) My favorites are: Birds of Paradise Brown Sugar & Fig Mediterranean Fig Wild Mountain Honey Vanilla Passion
  11. We use Tennessee's Birthday Cake for Buttercream, It is more sweet instead of the almost sour smell of buttercream
  12. Thank you all and thank you CBE, I love that.
  13. We we asked by a local realtor to design a candle for them to put in their new home gift package. We want to do a scent that should try to suit most in a simple tumbler or apothecary. I want to name the scent something like "Home Sweet Home" which I can't use because of Yank**. Anyone else have any cute names? Thanks.
  14. Those are the cutest!!!! I wish I had a little girl to get one for. I have 3 wonderful, but smelly boys!
  15. We just decorate one of the reeds, that way they can still flip the rest of the reeds.
  16. Very Pretty!!! I bet your house smells divine.
  17. Thanks everyone. I think I might ditch the bucket idea and just suggest the lemongrass sage that is in our line already.
  18. Has anyone found inexpensive small buckets ( probably 24 oz or less) that are water tight that can be used for bug repellent candles? I only need a few and was hoping to find them at a craft store or somewhere like that. The one I found at Walmart leaked through the seam on the side. Thanks
  19. We mix lemongrass sage with our citronella, to offset the yucky citronella.
  20. We buy the sets from All White Candles. I think they are a 4 oz bottle. They are easy, because they are already in the box and ready to go. I believe that it is 36 of them for 81.00. They are a big seller for us.
  21. All of what Carol said, plus I just got a sample of a new scent "pomegranite" It smells awesome oob. I love Millcreek's scents!
  22. It is a great scent, but hard to describe, it almost has a musky scent to it I think. We use Peak's it is great!
