  1. Haha! oops! Sorry! It is a great scent..if you do order from NG try it! It is called Rainbow! I like alot of NG's oil's especially their Zucc. Bread! It is the creamy kind..yummmy! OOps! I hope you don't like Zucc, Bread! lol
  2. Anyone know who sells it? I have looked at JS..AH/RE..Lonestar..NG so far I haven't seen it unless it has a different name. HELP! TY! Kim
  3. Here is a chart I love..Stella from this forum posted this a while ago..but I love it! HTH! http://www.wickit.net/recommendations.html#p700
  4. I recently got a whiff of HPC from a destash..you are right..I am glad I did not order it..beside's BCN's shipping is expensive for me..so I am glad I read this and also got the destash with the melt in it so I could smell it before I made a order with BCN, in which I didn't need.
  5. Here you go! http://www.candlesandsupplies.net/Candle-Making/Straight-Paraffin-Mottling-Wax HTH..just do a search there is alot of information about mottling.
  6. I just poured some CLV from NG..it smell's awesome! I have 2lbs. from JS and I get fuel smell...although that goes away after the candle has cured..about 3=6 days with my soy wax. I never tried it in paraffin..I just can't stand the fuel scent.:/
  7. I also have heard that "Bread" is Amish Friendship Bread & Zucchini Bread mixed.
  8. I have been following this thread so I ordered a 10# bag of the tart wax. Got it yesterday and threw it in the presto! This wax that I got is soft..greasy and it does stick together when you make a ball. I used their sample of Apple Pie (omgosh..love this scent and crème brulee is amazing and strong) it smells great CT.. I haven't melted yet waiting a couple of days...BUT it is really soft..when you take it out of the scent shot cup it like melt's in you hand's(hence the "gresiness").:/ Thinking about adding some 4794(which I have been testing straight that won't budge out of he ss cups!) :/ So maybe the 2 together will work? Anyone having these issue's?
  9. I had to place an order at Fillmore and guess what I got? YUP! 4 cases of them! When I see them locally I will stock up on them! http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/Heritage-Collection-Blue-Regular-Mouth-Ball-Pint-Jars-P5875.aspx?g=true I love all of the idea's on here! The crumble's would be so cute! The brittle would look nice in them too! I love the soap/lotion dispenser too! I wonder what the pendulum light's would look like with them? I am thinking on that for my kitchen!
  10. Yes..I live between Utica/Rome area as well! I have made palm(glass glo) candle's but I could never get them wicked..way..so then I moved on to Soy..I am not a business(as of now..I used to be though) just hobbyist..if I can find a good tart/melt wax combo I will go for it again here in the Fall. As far as candle's..I make them but I don't push to sell them anymore as wicking has drastically changed for my recipe. So I am at square one basically with my candle's. :/ So cool you have so many animal's! I love animal's!
  11. I am thinking any clamshell you use would be fine..I think the skunky..plastic smell you are worried about come's from vendor's who pour too hot and the plastic actually melt's some. HTH.
  12. There is supposed to be a #5 on the bottom. The #2's I believe don't quote me..over time will break down with certain FO's. Hopefully someone else will chime in and confirm this.
  13. I believe the Dart brand is the right one! That's what I have and use and I haven't had any problem's. I don't sell yet but I have alot I got from a restaraunt that burned and they were the Dart and mine have a #5 on the bottom! Hopefully someone else who order's these from this supplier will chime in!
  14. I have had the normal looking wax the the HT just isn't the same! I haven't figured out if it is the wick's for sure..I have made some melt's with the exact same combo as I would in a candle and let it cure for 7 days..and strong throw! HMMMMMM....so I am thinking it is the wicks! I may have to try a different type,,just don't know what yet. I have HTP's but they perform the same way as the CD's..CDN's. Luckily I don't make too many candle's and just started making melt's. I am not a business but I am a hobbyist and have a few consignment shop's that I sell cnadle's in. TY so much for the info..may have to switch waxes!
  15. I have CDN's from Funflames as well...they behave the same as CD's for me so I have been using up my CD's that I have had a while. TY for your reply!
  16. Here is a chart of all the wicks...there may be a few newer one's out there but this should help you out! http://www.wickit.net/recommendations.html
  17. TY...hmmmm I wonder why? TY for your reply!
  18. TY...what wick's do you use with your C3? I use CD but it seems the throw is hit or miss lately. Have you had any wicking issues?
  19. Anyone notice that C3 wax is not on their site..or am I totally overlooking this? I need more wax and alway's order it from them..I don't see it on there! I know Fillmore sell's it and I will order from them but I really like CS. Anyone know if they will be getting it back? TIA! Happy Easter! Kim
  20. I know what you mean I need more wax too..I probably won't have the time now until Fall to play..I own a soft serve custard shop and we open in april..so all of my time will be devoted to that. I have been trying to get this scoopable wax thing perfected. I am pleased with what I have accomplished so far..now I am wanting to pipe it and have no clue how...trial and error..so that will be put on hold as well. Good luck with it Mullberry!
