  1. Id like to make soy tarts but was wondering if I had to add an additive or if I could just use my leftover soy wax? Ive been using my leftover wax for tea lights but I would like to make tarts as well. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS
  2. LOL Id prefer no spice just straight pumpkin.....now im running to check their site
  3. Ive been doing pretty good IMO things have slowed down a bit but thats because Ive been testing new scents and have been having family issues. Heres some threads on it: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56359&highlight=etsy http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55199&highlight=etsy%27
  4. They make me want to bake some brownies LOL They must smell delicious. It almost looks like you did a swirl with maybe a carmel color? They look fantastic
  5. I guess I should have mentioned which ones LOL I have tried: TNC Pumpkin pie Backwoods Grammys Yummy Punkin Peaks Sweet Pumpkin spice OT Ol' South Pumpkin Pie Granted I know I havent tried too many but I dont due well with ordering samples I ALWAYS go over board and usually buy lbs unless theres a sample sale I cant resist LOL, Ive also read reviews on others as well. SO far I think the closest I have found is the Backwoods Punkin but I smell A LOT of vanilla. Yes I know PICKY PICKY PICKY
  6. Nope sorry at least in my opinion. I dont even think it mentions vanilla in the scent description.
  7. I LOVE THIS SCENT!!!! Its super strong though. I poured a bunch of candles all at once and used 1 oz per lb of wax and I swear my nose almost fell off LOL Oh ya I use 100% soy, but it truely is a great xmas/winter scent. Its a half and half scent in my opinion if that makes any sense. You can smell the peppermint and the pine but neither overpowers one another. Oh ya I just soaped it too. No seizing or discoloration, and the scent is still super strong
  8. I am on the search for more of a pumpkin than a spice. So I need some opinions. It doesnt matter if its supposed to have a strong spice but doesnt. Im looking for anything with a pumpkin scent because even the fos I have purchased that are supposed to be PUMPKIN pie all I smell is spice not even a hint of pumpkin. Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh and I dont know if it matters but I am using 100% soy. THANKS
  9. Its Royal Aromatics. Their website is back up but I dont see the list of fo's. I heard they were redoing their website and that if you email them that they will email you the complete list of them. Ive always had wonderful luck with their scents. http://royalaromatics.com
  10. I havent tried farmhouse but RA has it and its a dead on dupe. Granted you have the $50 min. but if your looking for any other dead on dupes RA is the way to go IMO
  11. Is it real spicy???? Im looking for more of a pumpkin smell not spice
  12. Jack frost! Very strong! I think its a great xmas scent.
  13. The apple and clover is really good fro candlescience. I dont smell much of the clover at all but I still love the scent. Very strong apple scent IMO
  14. I love bubbles-n-lights autumn leaves and for candy corn my fav is ICS
  15. I havent found one that I havent loved. I love their soy rating even though the ones that I have tried that says it doesnt do great in soy has....mind you this is only my opinion and in 100% soy. Just my opinions Antique sandalwood (nice sandalwood scent-customers love it) Apple and clover ( I smell a lot of apple with light clove PERFECT) coconut lime verbena (Exact dupe-light oob but in wax its great) cranberry marmalade (WOW) golden rose (smells like a combo of roses-not like an old lady LOL) himalayan bamboo (one of MY favorites...smells like a bamboo forest STRONG!) jack frost (WOW-VERY STRONG but great winter scent) mistletoe (great xmas scent) palm tree ( very tropical) violet lime (My husbands fav. my 2nd Its a unique but great scent)
  16. I was wondering if the pumpkin souffle and the asian amber are B & B safe it doesnt have any info yet They sound FANTASTIC!!!!
  17. Candlescience is having their $.99 sample sale. Im so excited.....my husbands going to kill me LOL there's so many that I still want to try!
  18. The only advice I can give as to etsy is to post in the forums and try to list items often. Ive had a problem with that since Ive been testing a lot but I usually try to list at least one item a day. Some do once a week, but I guess it depends on the person. Also patience for that site is a must. It took me about a month and a half for my first 2 sales and then another month after that for it to start rolling out sales. Also heres another thread that was going a while ago with tips. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55199&highlight=etsy
  19. They have it, along with many other butters to save on shipping http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/butter/butter.html
  20. I agree. Its so hard to pour something that you cant stand to smell OOB, especially since I always make sure mines B & B safe and the scent doesnt really change when your adding it to bath salts or lotion
  21. Well its just glycerin soap so I would imagine you could get away with just using something as simple as an ice cube tray as a mold. Add color to your soap and do a swirl but just at the end with a color and a glitter and carve it. It looks interesting Ill have to give this a try once I finish up all my other projects LOL I think the only thing that would add some difficulty is the swirling since I have a heck of a time swirling M & P
  22. Thats exactly what I was going to ask LOL I LOVE THE DOWNY and searched everywhere. In my opinion NG has the best Downy dupe.
  23. I just made a batch last week with walmart brand and my batch turned out beautifully
  24. Ive seen people selling their oils in the classies but never looked up their website or tried their fos
  25. any recommendations? I know the throw might be different but just getting ideas.
