  1. I have never used DHL but I would figure they would be the safest.
  2. Yeah, you were one of the people I know..... . I broke down and ordered 10 pounds. I wanted to get it from Peaks so I could pick up a few other supplies but ...shipping was 26.88??? I went to UPS and did my own estimate at 15 lbs and it was only $16.00. I ended up getting it from Southern Scentsations. I can't wait to test it. I hope to get better glass adhesion than what I get with my CBA and a better scent throw also.
  3. Anyone have any success with it. I know of a few people who use it but do what do you think of it?
  4. Thanks so much for the help. I can't wait to get it now...
  5. LOL, I wont tell anyone.....else. Imagine my moms face when I asked her what Alcholic Beverage I should choose for a swap.....
  6. I dunno......LOL. I am hoping I can find something that gives the alcohol smell but smells nice. I don't want someone to smell my item and be like uhh...it smells like whiskey. I have decided I will be doing three items for the Soused Swap
  7. I am not using it in bath & body....thats all the info your gonna get outta me. I ordered about 15 different alcohol fragrances the other day including this one. I cant wait for it to get here. My supplier will never look at me the same.....
  8. Save it to your desktop. Then right click it. One the menu that pops up there should be a choice that says "Open With". Choose Microsoft Works Spreadsheet (if you have that, which I am almost certain you would). It should open right up. NEVERMIND..That won't work correctly. The formating will change. Sorry that I couldn't help.
  9. So..the Wick and Petal candles, after reading their website they make it seam like only every 1 in 10 candles that they made would be affected. They said it was due to raw materials they received. To me, it sounds like a wicking issue. What do you guys think?
  10. All of my sprays are cloudy but it doesn't seem to affect the quality of the product. As far as the look of them, I just use the aluminum slimline bottles from specialtybottle.com.
  11. Congrats. I am glad you found someone who you can work with and that will benefit you in the long run.
  12. Yeah, what CareBear said. You don't wanna be looking for car insurance, renter's insurance, and liability insurance all at the same time.
  13. I would like to try out some lavender martini for the Soused Swap. Does anyone like this fragrance? Is it nice?
  14. This is a pretty old post, just FYI and yes, I am sure she was busy.
  15. Call me stupid (many have) but those look like they were getting into the early stages of HP.
  16. This may not even be any help but, I'll post anyways. I use dafont.com for several personal (you have to be careful because some are only for personal use, they want you to pay for commercial use.) On dafont, you can type in the text you will be using it on. So, if I was looking for a new font for my business name, I would pick a category, type in Southern Scents in the custom preview box and all the fonts would display with the words Southern Scents. I hope this makes sense....
  17. Looks very nice and I bet it smells AMAZING. I love Hawaiian Breeze.
  18. Me too. I want one of these so bad but they are sooo pricey.
  19. Okay, so you guys get them out of the clamshell fine but what about the warmer? If you let the container blend get compeletely hard in the warmer it will adhere to the sides and bottom of the warmer because that is the nature of conatainer blends. A pillar or votive blend retracts from the sides so that it comes out of the mold easier and therefor works better for melts IMO.
  20. Me, me, I did lavender a day or two ago, too. It was a lavender and chamomile blend with some finely ground buds mixed in. I love it. I will have to upload pics later.
