  1. Thats really weird. I have been researching the backend of "YOUR" shopping cart software and it seems to have something called STSv4 installed. Simple Template System . I may be wrong but that isn't what your template system is running on is it?
  2. THANK YOU!!!! Thats what I have been trying to say all along. If you read the GNU it states that if you use open source software in your software, then your software is automatically open source!!!!
  3. Thanks for fixing the phpMyAdmin
  4. I am not gonna argue over this with you. By placing the software on a domain that I own, you distributed. You made it available to me...
  5. Frank, seeing as how you don't have PM priveleges yet, my phpMyAdmin says acess denied????? Can you fix that?
  6. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html
  7. Whens the last time you took a look at the GNU Frank?
  8. You would definitely have to go with osCMax seeing as how their code is what you have used to power your shopping cart.
  9. I agree, the most of my experience has went well too, I would just hate for it all to end so quickly..
  10. I am atleast trying to get some software code written so that we can save our sites. If they cancel now, then there is no chance of any site being saved......
  11. I don't think anyone should start jumping to cancel their subscription just yet.
  12. Search the board. I am pretty sure this has come up serveral times.
  13. As of now, no you won't but I am working hard to see what options are available for all of us.
  14. Hold up DC. I am working hard at seeing exactly how I can get us a copy of our website. I am sending you a pm, read it ASAP.
  15. He is probably deleting my whole site as we speak..
  16. Here is a serious issue to undertake, YOU CAN'T BACKUP your site. The site was built on the oscommerce platform so in order to use it you need that platform. Oscommerce is easy to get and all of your files are easy to back up but Frank has set up his system so the SQL database for you site is on his domain name which keeps you from having access to that vital piece of information. I am in the process of seeing just what I can do to remedy my situation. One thing you can help by doing is downloading some FTP software and downloading the publichtml folder from your website. It will be pretty big but at least you will have something. I am going to contact frank and see if he will willingly hand me a copy of my SQL database. If not, I am screwed. Really though, I already feel screwed. I have been paying 9.99 and 14.99 a month for shopping cart software that is completely open source meaning I could have gotten it for free and paid for hosting which can easily be found for less than $5 a month.
  17. I use gelluminations and it throws amazingly in soy...
  18. I heard that the business was being sold. It was too much for him to handle. Either way, someone should still be providing support. I have been researching cheaper options and from what I have found, HCM seems to be completely Zen Cart Based. Install zen cart and then open the HCM admin panel. Different look but the exact same menus, platform.
  19. Thanks everyone. I was really worried about the white text on black after everyone complained but when you can see an actual label it actually looks really nice. All I have left to do is my soap labels and I am still undecided on them.
  20. A few people wanted to see my label on my products so I took a few pictures last night. Here they are.
  21. I use www.paymentouch.com for my processing where you can get your choice of two different terminals for free as long as you have a merchant account with them. They also offer check services, gift cards, and signature capturing and storing plus you also have the reliability of an overnight replacement if your terminal is ever damaged. They even offer the Way terminal if you are just set on that certain one plus its the new model. I personally don't use the WAY. I wish that I would have purchased the one I found for $ 50 dollars but when I saw it, but I never figured I would be processing credit cards in my lifetime. Here is just another hint, check out ebay and search user paymentouch where this company offers a better selection of free terminals.:smiley2: HTH
  22. Before you you spend that much on that system, look around at the other wireless processors and terminals. I personally opted for a much nicer terminal with thermal printer that came free for as long as I had a merchant account with the company. It only cost me a 10.00 statement fee, a 15 dollar wireless fee per month. After that you simply pay .23 per transaction plus a percentage of the sale that ranges from 0% for debit cards with the pin entered to only 1.59% for credit cards. HTH. PS: The WAY system can be found much cheaper. I have found the comlete terminal $50 at a closeout store that was still in its packaging.
  23. Okay guys, here comes my short, unorganized tutorial. Attatched is the template, a picture of how to used the guidlines to help you out, and some tips on how to fold the box. First, you want to take this template and fill it with your information. Next, print it out, I suggest high gloss photo paper and printing with your printer settings adjusted accordingly. Then you should cut completely around your template. From this point you have two options. You can simply just fold the box and tape it or, you can acheive a much more proffesional looking box by using your trimmer (you can see the one I use in a picture below) to make score lines. To do so, turn your printed side of the box over. Now, use the blade of your trimmer to lighly score along the folding lines. DO NOT use much pressure or you will slice through your box. If you have a scoring attatchment, you could use it. I score along all of the vertical folding points as well as horizontally along the flaps. Now, turn your box, printed side up and fold it, connecting the circumfrence first and then folding the flaps on the bottom. I use double sized tape along the circumfrence flap and regular tape on the flaps at the bottom. I hope that I have halfway explained how to do this. It really is not that hard and I have probably wasted my time explaing it. If you need help just PM me.
  24. Yes, High Gloss Photo Paper. I use it for everything from these packages, to my business cards, to invitations, actual photos, and so much more. Make sure you choose your glossy photo paper setting under your printer though. Template comings soon as well as more laid out instructions and tips.
  25. Hi Guys, I am glad everyone likes it. I started doing this when I firsted started my wholesale plan and just got through revamping it with my new logo, info, etc. I printed everything myself. The box is printed on high gloss photo paper which gives the box the rigidity it needs and also provides the professionally printed look. I also print business cards and so much more on this stuff. Visit the Dollar Tree and pick up a few packs. I am sure you'll find some use, I always do. I would also be willing to provide my template for you guys to use. Just give me a chance to clear it back off and take a screen shot. Not sure how you guys would edit it unless you have a graphics program. I use Scrapbook Factory for everything I do. If there is any other way I could help, let me know. Adam
