The products are mine pretty much i buy then resale so.....Another thing, in the agreement it was never said that my prices had to be the same as theirs. So, I also in the right there. Yes, all of the products are from gelluminations. Ring of Fire this is what you said:The colors on the welcome page are pretty but it doesn't carry through to the rest of the pages. The moving cursor should go, I know a lot of people hate that. The word shop moving back and forth on the welcome does nothing so why have it? I have one ounce sample packs. 5 one ounce bottles and you pick the scents that you would like to try. You can pick 5 different scents or any comination of them. Thanks.

Please explain what you mean about the colors. Cursor trail is gone. The scrolling word is gone. Working on the pictures which will take a while to get fixed because there are SOOOOOO many.

I understand how you feel but I am legally allowed to use their products and pics by them. Yes, their kits and items but my prices are almost always lower than theirs. I am working on adding my own products. I have to get a new digital camera that has better quality but small file sizes which is hard to find in my opinin because better quality=bigger file sizes.

hey guys, thanks for all of your help and i am currently changing many things after hearing your thoughts. Yes, most of my pictures are from gelluminations. I have permission to use them though. I am going to add my own pics as soon as i get the time. I aslo have many other products to add. I have removed the cursor trail and added fragrance chart and fragrance description page. I am working on seeing if there is a way to add the catalog to the site. About the catalog being bland, there is nothing i can do about that because it is what was offered by the people who are hosting me. I am also working on getting the picture coming up without you having to click on the product. A forum is another thing that is currently in the works and this should be up within a week. Hello, I am about to place my first major order, enough supplies to make 100 8 oz candles. I have done all the testing and i am ready to make these candles. Done all the test burns with the scents I plan to order but I want to see what other people sell the most of no matter where you live. I will order them in a sample pack to see what to order next and to allow my customers to give some feedback. I understand that different place mean different prices but does a 8oz candle in a glass jar with metal lid sound okay at 6.00$ My candle will cost 2.50 to make so i figure this is a good price. I have checked my competitors prices and this is the same as hers. Thanks

Guys, Im gonna be honest with you all, this is one of my first post ever on any site and I am appauled by the attitude and way I am being treated. Just because some of you do not beleive I could have gotten all of my variable under control in less time than you does NOT mean I have not! It seems that most everyone thinks I am some big liar. I truly have worked at this and beleive I am ready and I am going ahead with it. I buy all of my candle making supplies except for the containers at gelluminations. I am using their opaque container wax with vybar added, their 6 incotton wicks and my jars are 9 OZ hex jars from specialtybottle.com. As soon as I have taken pictures I WILL post them to help the people who think I am lying change their mind

Aother thing, if these are not on your candle coudl you be sued, My competitor has the scent name, company name and warning about keeping wick trimmed and that stuff. She really needs to know about this because even though she is my competitor, i would hate for her to be sued or put out of business

that I am not completely ready to sell. I am ready to make my candle and I am ready to sell except for one thing........the labels. I have my warning labels about keeping the wick trimmed and all of that and i have my label with my company name Southern Scents and a phone number we can be reached at along with the scent name. I was just reading a new site that I found on here taht was talking about the things that must be on your product for them to be legally sold. They gave me a government site but it was kind of jumbled up with lots of junk and adds for websites. Could someone tell me exactlywhat HAS to be on my candle for it to be sold. Thanks

True, True. I did know what exactly a flashpoint was but from that its kind of hadr to find info on the flash point and thinking about making candles professionally drove me to find out for safety reasons. I had emailed people but never got a reply. I knew the part about it bursting to flames at that point but again, i wanted to be sure.

Yes, I have made them for around my house and burnt them just as any person would. I have also burned them beside my competitors and they burn just as well if not better. I understand where i confused you. "I truly beleive I am ready to make candles." What i meant was, ready to make candles to sell

Guys, i truly understand the slow down part. But i would like to add that i have done more research than most candle making companies have, literally months of research. I have also tested the scent loads and all of that stuff. I truly beleive that i am ready to begin making candles. I figure it cost me about 2.50 a candle so 6.00 sounds great to me. I would really like to know your opinions on this and the scents even though you all think Im going to fast. I this my first order but what i mean is my first order to make and sell. I am about to place my first order for candle making supplies. I am planning to make 100 8 OZ candles. I would like to know, what in you opinion and based on sales are you top 5 selling scents. I would also like to know what you would price an 8 OZ candle in glass jars with metal lids. I will not charge tax on them so the tax would be included. I was thinking about six dollars which is the price that my only competitor charges. The scents that i have chosen are Fruit Slices Mango Mandarin Lick Me All Over Cucumber Melon Georgia Peach. I have not placed the order yet so please, tell me your opinion on what i should order. Thanks

Hey, I am begging to make candles and sell them. I need to know what the flashpoint is. IS it a t3emperature i must reach or a temperature i must go over or what. I know that the flashpoint of the scents i plan to use is 175 to 200 degrees. Thanks.
