I got a digital scale at Wal-Mart. I found it in the kitchen gadget aisle. It was about $30. I have only been soaping for a couple of months and also use a simple recipe, but it seems to work really well. Good luck! Soaping is so much fun! Valerie:)

The MC is worth the wait! I love mine. Been soaping only a couple of months, but have been very happy with this mold. Of course, don't have anything to judge it against, but it's wonderful just the same. Makes a nice size bar of soap and is easy to line once you get the hang of it. The instruction sheet that comes with it is very detailed. Hope you guys get your molds soon! Valerie:)

Just got a box from FOH a while ago. The name of the company describes how I am feeling perfectly. OMG, I got tons from the prebuy and the free shipping sale. These oils are incredible! I especially love Bedtime Bath, Downpour type, Fresh Lemon Sugar type, Wisteria Blossoms, Lime & Cilantro, White Chocolate Karibu, Sensual Secrets, Amber Blush, Lime Crystal Kisses, and Caramel Dip. But all the others are excellent, too. Can't wait to start pouring them. Thanks Kim!

I got Caramel Clouds last week and Sugar Milk is on the way. I can't wait to smell it, but I didn't think is was going to be a caramel smell. I love the Caramel Clouds :smiley2: . Wonder if it is the same, cuz ICS only has a limited amount.

Hi Shell, Just wanted to say candlemaking is more fun than you could ever imagine. And extremely addicting, to boot. I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into. Get yourself a kit from Peak or Cajun and you will be on your way. And don't forget to test, test, test. You wouldn't want someone to burn their house down with a candle you made. I've done the sachets with the aroma beads in Ms. Randy's Vanilla Bean (WF), Cinnamon (Peak), and Cucumber Melo (Peak). And I have also made ornies with the aroma beads. Got some heart cookie cutters at Target and followed instructions from BCN. Took one in for the principal at my daughter's school and got orders for a dozen more. I am charging $2 each and they are loving them. I have been working on more this weekend since I finally got some more cookie cutters on ebay. But should have checked Michael's or Hobby Lobby first . Paid more for them than I should have. But I have a moon, butterfly, flower, star, diamond, and another cross-type shape.

Peak's Cinnamon is really good, but you guys are making me want to try these others .

OMG you poor thing! I don't ever want to even think about something like that happening to me. I probably would have completely freaked out. What a mess! Last month I picked up a candle to sniff after I had already blown it out, and it splashed wax all over me, the sink, the floor, etc. and I about had a panic attack. Needless to say, I told my family to go ahead and watch American Idol without me. I was busy. Valerie

I have been using BCN's lip balm base and DH says it's the best he's ever used. Got my tubes and pots and flavor oils from MMS. There is an instruction sheet on their website. Valerie

TexasBrat, I placed an order with her on the 26th of Feb., and just got it this past Wed. or Thurs. She shipped it parcel post, I think. But it was worth the wait. IMO we are here to enjoy each and every moment and I can honestly say that I have been in hog heaven with all of these wonderful fragrances ever since I started making candles, soap, aroma beads, etc. I am not sure I would quit even if it was proven...:smiley2:

I've put Peak's Mediterranean Fig in 4794 votive wax and it is awesome, also have some from FOH, but haven't put it into wax yet. I use j223 also. Maybe that's what I'll pour tomorrow :smiley2: , and I'll let you know... Sorry I can't be of immediate help. Valerie
