  1. Indiana Candle Supply has 10 for $15 (good price for awesome oils). My faves from them are Bear Claws, Vanilla Frosted Grahams & Coffee Bean. Then there's Cierra Candles. They have sampler specials and although I don't hear a lot about them here, I am impressed with their oils. Cashmere Bliss, Rosemary Mint & Oriental Musk are great. Then there's Nature's Garden, though I haven't poured any yet, I am really impressed with their customer service. They sent me a whole packet of info including a mouse pad and some soap!! Very professional. The Pumpkin Crunch Cake and Frangelico Streusel are yummy. 10 for $20 with them. And don't forget Solas. I got my samples on a sale, I hear you have to watch closely for them. But their oils are fantastic! Then again, I'm lovin' all I'm smellin' Valerie
  2. Chocolate Silk Frappuccino, Purple Haze, & Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies:drool:
  3. Bunchberry & Moss, Sultry Angel & Peony White Tea smell awesome OOB.
  4. Peak's Cappuccino Hazelnut smells incredible OOB, so does Butter Rum Cappuccino from Aroma Haven/Rustic Escentuals, but I haven't put them in wax yet. I did pour Morning Blend (A/H-R/E) yesterday and it really stunk. Also Coffee Bean from ICS smells really good OOB. I am pretty new to all this, but imo the Peak's one is the best.
  5. ...you place so many orders that you notice as you submit one that you have entered the wrong state for shipping:laugh2: :laugh2:
  6. Hi there! Thought I'd get in on this thread to confess a SERIOUS addiction to FO. I started making candles about 6 weeks ago and have purchased more FO's than I ever even imagined were out there! Then I read about all the yummy ones mentioned here from every supplier under the sun, and I still think I need more. Help me!!!!!!! I am off to Solas to get the Sandalwood Rose, Lavender, Cucumber & Sage, Lime, Basil & Mandarin, and a few others that I have been hearing about. I will say this- they do have some incredible oils. They definately stand out from the other suppliers. I poured several before Christmas and they were so strong (Winter, Christmas Eve, Elderberry, & Frosted Snowdrops). My husband had a horrible cold and absolutely lovvvvvved the Frosted Snowdrops! It's his new favorite. Anyway, glad to know I am in good company here.
  7. I just poured Cherry Mist the other day and it is wonderful! Can't wait to burn it. Also, of the ones I got (a bunch:o ), these are my faves: Sweet Amber Musk, Orchid Rain, Butter Rum Cappuccino, Strawberry Musk & Green Tea & Cucumber.
  8. I ordered at the beginning of December during her sampler sale. She was offering her 3 newest (Pumpkin Coffee, Masala Chai, Ginger Chiffon) in 1 oz size plus 3 others of your choice for $15.50 including shipping. I got Sultry Angel, Peony White Tea, and Bunchberry & Moss. They are all excellent OOB, especially the last three I mentioned. But I haven't put them in wax yet. I hope you ordered those last three. They are soooooo good! Valerie
  9. Thanks for your response, Wendy. I'll just keep an open ear so maybe I can get in on one of your prebuys. Happy New Year! Valerie
  10. What is Wendy's website? I am new at this and am not familiar with her as a supplier, but I have to try these oils you are talking about. Thanks- Valerie
  11. I have been using IGI4794 for votives, heating to 180, adding FO & color and then pouring. Am I supposed to be letting it cool to a lower temp before I pour? I am pretty new at this and am getting ready to do containers with J223 and IGI4786. I've read that the J223 needs to cool to about 150 before you pour, so I started wondering if maybe I am supposed to do that with the 4794 and maybe 4786 as well. Thank you in advance:smiley2:
  12. Cierra has a Cinnamon French Toast that is awesome OOB and has a great cold throw, but I haven't tested it yet for hot throw.
  13. I just got my samples from there this evening. They are all great OOB, especially My Grandmother's Blueberry Cobbler, Brown Sugar & Pecan, Caramel Cinnamon Latte, Santirini, and Pomegranate & Orange. Plus, she threw in 5 samples free with my order!!! Can't wait to put them in wax!
  14. I have been using the IGI4794 for votives with either HTP-41 or 44-24-18 zinc core wicks. I was adding the FO at about 175 degrees, but then read in the archives that the scent throw will be better if you add FO at 180 degrees. We have been testing with good scent throw those at 175, but the others are still curing, so we'll see. I am hoping for great scent throw:wink2:
  15. Hey Missy- How's is going? Have you any other recommendations from Southern Scentations? I hadn't heard of them, but I've just been to their website. 5 1 oz for $9- sounds like a deal to me! Uh-oh, here I go again:wink2: Valerie
  16. Hi Missy- I don't know why I can't do the PM thing. I am looking everywhere and not finding how to set it up:o I even tried to PM you, but it says I do not have access. Help!!! Thanks- Valerie
  17. Thanks for all the input! I've ordered Peak's and will see if the guy likes it:smiley2:
  18. Hi Missy- Thanks for the tips! I haven't ordered from any of those suppliers yet, but I had been planning on it. Not sure if I've heard much about Keystone, but ever since I found this forum, I am up late at night reading about whose got the best whatever and taking notes. I think I have ordered from at least 13 suppliers so far and that's just been within the past month. I just started making candles the week before Thanksgiving! I definitely have it bad:o . How long have you been going at it and what kind of candles are you making? Right now I am just doing votives, but my jars will be here Monday. I am having the time of my life! Valerie
  19. Thank you for the web address. Any must haves from them?:rolleyes2
  20. Did I hear someone say "sale"? What is the web address for Texas Candle Supply? I couldn't find it on the supplier list. Thanks.
  21. I had a request for Mediterranean Fig today. Does anyone know who has a good one? I see that Peak has one. Has anyone tried it? Thanks in advance.
  22. Missy- Yes, I definitely think I will use up the vanilla bean. I smell it every chance I get. Linda and I spoke for a while the other night and she says that she mixes it with pumpkin spice and it's super. Also, I was doing some Christmas shopping yesterday and found a cheapy Vanilla Gingerbread tin at Michael's for $1. It smelled so good that I almost bought it, then realized how insane that would be. Guess I'll just make my own. Do you like gingerbread, and if so, who's got a great one? Merry Christmas to you, too. Santa's been coming to my door frequently these days with fo's. I am in hog heaven. Valerie
  23. I just received a bottly of Ms. Randy's Vanilla Bean from Wildfire Creations and it is delectable. I almost want to drink it. Also, Vanilla Passion from Peak is really good OOB, too.
  24. Hey Missy, You were sent the oils I ordered. How funny!!! I received a BIG bottle of the Vanilla Bean, plus about 4 or 5 others. I can't stop smelling the vanilla bean. It is soooooo good! I was also very pleasantly surprised with the Amber & Honeysuckle. It is wonderful! I called Linda right away and she said to just keep all these oils plus she will send me out the other 8. I was impressed to say the least. Can't wait to try some more of her oils. I have only been making candles for about a month and I just can't seem to get enough FO's. I wish I had 1 of every one out there!!! Valerie
