Got my Backwoods order last week and love every one of them. Nobody has mentioned the Green Tea & Rose or Sugar Maple. Sugar Maple smells exactly like Mrs. Butterworth's. They are all super strong and Connie is super sweet. I don't have enough time in the day to pour all of the oils I have. I am banning myself from ordering any more oils. :tiptoe:

You have to try Country Berry Hotcakes, German Chocolate Cake, Amish Harvest, Pear Spice, & Green Tea. They have so many good ones, I could go on and on.

Oops! :embarasse My bad, it was Daystar's, not Solas. It's a violet & vanilla musk- very pretty.

I did my first cp soap yesterday and chose Solas's Purple Haze. It smells sooooo good!

Made my first batch of cp yesterday and can't wait to make more today. It was a little scary with the lye, but had DH in the kitchen assisting, and now I'll feel more comfortable doing it on my own. Unmolded it today and it is so beautiful, if I do say so myself. Solas's Purple Haze- yum! I'm hooked !

Both of the Krispy Kreme stores here went bankrupt about 9 months ago. I miss the free donuts!!!

The ones I have poured recently that are awesome are Buttercream Frosting, Lavender Basil, and Coffee Bean. Also renamed All Hallow's Eve and just got a big order for votives. All of their oils smell great OOB! Super strong.

Got my samples today. Boy, am I impressed! Every single one of these is really strong OOB. This is what I got: Backwoods Lemon Tart- strongest lemon I have smelled yet- awesome! Pumpkin Cornbread- very unique & good Hazelnut Coffee- similar to Peak's Sugar Maple- smells just like Mrs. Butterworth's- yum Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake- smells like Tootsie Rolls to me Blackberry Patch- deliciously tart & sweet at the same time Green Tea & Rose- beautiful fragrance, stronger on the rose Pear Vanilla- very clean and soothing scent Pink Pepperberry- great combo of spicy & sweet Tropical Fusion- smells like TCS Butt Naked Jakfruit Jam (she threw this one in for free)- very nice, kind of like a grapefruit & orange mixed Guess I better get busy pouring...

If shipping on 10 samples is $11.57 from Ohio to the Southwest, I'd hate to see what it is to the UK. Yikes!

I started with a kit from Cajun and was very happy with it. I wouldn't waste money on the kits from craft stores.:smiley2:

Don't feel bad. I feel like a complete idiot! I have placed about 4 orders from them (most recently Friday) and I have never gotten the sniffie. The first couple of times I didn't even know about it, then on the next one, for some reason, it said it wasn't available. I guess I just need to make a big note for myself.

OK Scented, I will do my best to describe these oils. The fragrances are so complex that it will not be easy, though. Dazzle is more of a floral, but has a woodsy smell at the same time~ maybe it's the cedarwood. Mahogany is definitely strong on the cedar & citrus, but I don't smell any amber in musk in it like the description says. Flirtatious, like I said, smells just like Oscar de la Renta perfume~ verrrry nice. And now I know why Enlighten is so good, cuz it has patch in it, but also orange & vanilla~ super good. This one I want to drink. And Beau Rivage is just so unique, words can't describe it. Very strong and pleasing scent.

I am waiting on an order from Backwoods with all of those you are talking about plus a few more. Now I really can't wait! Maybe I'll drive around and look for the UPS driver:laugh2:

Glad to know I am not alone Eve:smiley2: I also started in November. I have made votives, jars, tealights, lip balm, aroma beads for sachets & ornies, linen spray, and have all the supplies necessary for cp soapmaking. Just need a good day to get started. I never dreamed all of this would be so addictive. I have made at least one batch of candles every day except Christmas!! I love smelly stuff:drool: :drool: Valerie
