  1. Yes, the IGI 4630 is a one pour container paraffin.
  2. We use IGI 4630 container wax. It has a very creamy smooth look to it and burns great. Excellent hot and cold throw with everything we have used in it as well.
  3. I got mine at newegg.com. They are very fast and an excellent source for any computer parts. It looks like they have a very nice sale on the printer right now as well. $279.99 with free 3 day shipping. Almost can't pass that one up. Here is a link. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828104363 HTH Dave
  4. I can tell you that I love Epson for inkjet printers (HP inkjet are not good anymore). I am also the owner of an HP 2600n color laser printer. After looking at other color laser printers I found the quality and price to be great. We have had the printer for about 3 months now and it is great. Waterproof clear labels, business cards, brochures, catalogs, along with our other product labeling (most of which is on heavy cardstock) come out great. The other laser printer I was considering at the time was a Dell - the same one my dad has, but that thing is so sloooooooow. Also, it was $399 compared to the $299 that the HP 2600n was. The wireless requires an extra card for the printer (I think it's about $80 last time I looked) Also, make sure you have the right paper type and tray selected in the properties on the computer before you print.
  5. Smart tart. I was thinking the same thing. From the original post, "Got an email yesterday asking if I use this or that in one of my products" sounds to me that they were checking for a specific ingredient. I could be wrong, but the way it was worded makes me think the same way as you.
  6. I like the 3" round pillars (with the concave top). We have a ton of molds 4, 6, and 9 inches tall.
  7. Try this out Mel. http://www.yaley.com/candles/Tealight_Molds.htm
  8. In response to the deer urine candle scents - these are made with soy wax and the scent oil isn't really an oil, it really is deer urine. Here is a link where you can get it if you'd like. Many people swear by these for hunting. http://www.mastinsdeerscents.com/OurScents.html I know for sure I would never pour something like that inside.
  9. I'll agree. The tulip from NG ROCKS!! I'm also not big on floral scents but this one is nice and fresh (smells just like the flower).
  10. I use IGI 4630 which is a similar sticky consistency. This comes in slabs though so it's easy to cut pieces off with a butter knife. I feel you on trying to get your hands clean. This stuff is so sticky.
  11. I use hot glue to stick down wicks all the time and never had a problem. Good luck on the flower pot testing, I'm about ready to start doing that as well.
  12. I've got a pack of CSN 12 wicks ready for some 3" diameter palm pillars as well in the next few days. I'll put up my thought / results.
  13. Actually it depends on how many orders you have placed. From BCN site http://www.candlesupply.com/sniffies.html : New Customer Special: Get 3 FREE Sniffies with your first order! Regular Customer Deal: Get 1 FREE Sniffie with every order of $50 or more! Visit our message board for other FREE Sniffie specials!I know it doesn't seem like much compared to some other suppliers but each company has their own policy. If you put in the comments section which scent you would like for your sample/s they will get you that one. So I'm not quite sure why you got a scent that you thought was not good unless maybe you didn't specify which you wanted. I still order quite a bit from them because they have several of their "exclusive - BC Original" scents that are excellent sellers. Sorry for your disappointment. I guess I just got used to it after a while since I knew the policy was there.
  14. Thank you for your fast input. This is a bit new to me and I'm trying to work this out for an out-of-state account.
  15. I could really use something like that as well. I'm going to try and come up with something tonight.
  16. For those of you who wholesale, I am wondering if you have a minimum for each scent / type of candle. For example do you let a wholesale account order 1 of this scent, 2 of that scent assuming they meet your order minimum total? I would think maybe not, however I'm not sure exactly how to word this to a potential customer so that they understand how they need to order. Thanks in advance.
  17. Exactly what MaryinCary said. It's just a little rim of wax around / under the wick pin. I just run my fingers on the bottom of the votive and it comes off.
  18. We have 3, all that I put spouts in. I like them with the spouts.
  19. That's not a bad price at all Indygirl. I get them at WSP and I think they are $0.30 each. Might be interested in that one.
  20. You may want to try calling. I had a question on my order when I placed it and the lady that answered the phone had Anna call me back right away when I told her I had a question on an order for shea butter.
  21. The Wal-Mart here put the Status Votive Holders and the small roly poly on clearance here about a week ago. I liked those status holders too.
  22. I pour them at about 160 with paraffin wax and they don't warp on me. The 6006 is a container blend, isn't it? Is that sticky like the 4630 is? If so you may have trouble getting the wax out of the clamshells.
  23. bandwidth limits are all set by the host... I seriously doubt I'll exceed mine and if I do I can increase it. Godaddy hosting with their economy plan gets me 5 GB Disk Space (for file storage) and 250 GB Data Transfer (bandwidth) per month. I'd be talking to the hosting company for the site and checking what their limit is as well as looking to see if there was an excessive amount of traffic coming from anywhere.
  24. Yeah, couldn't pass up the price either. 20 lbs of shea (10 yellow, 10 soap) for $39.56 including shipping.
  25. Yeah, hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be joining you on that. Waiting for some KoH
