  1. Let me get this off my chest. I hate Monica! I saw her molds on ebay a long time ago and I can't believe such talent. In my next life Monica I hope to give you a run for your money. Janet
  2. Trish what a nice setup. I like the black background. What is that dangling from the jars? Janet
  3. If someone doesn't buy them out or they don't reorganize I sure like to be at that garage sale! Janet
  4. It's very easy to get the line off palm wax candles. I have smoothed the edges for tea light holes with tulle or probably panty hose would work. After doing this the line part might be a bit whitish but I have some from Christmas ones that I made and it is all the same color now. Make sure you brush off as much of the white as you can and run your hand around it too. The heat from your hands seems to help too. A wax piece using a silicone mold just doesn't have the same awesome designs on the candle as the metal molds. I don't know about plastic molds though. Janet
  5. I've never made any but I'd say they look pretty darn good. Janet
  6. I love the brown rustic one!!! Janet
  7. Those look pretty darn nice. Like the packaging and the coloring. I'd buy them too. Janet
  8. Oh my gosh Kay why didn't I think of that? It looks like your metal molds are concave. I did make holers for the glassware but never could get it right for concave molds. That is an awesome idea! Janet
  9. Very pretty. The one on the back left almost looks like a basket weave or the starting of one. Janet
  10. The last pic is my rose in a vase. I ended up with fanning the onion grass and centering the rose and baby's breath. If you think you have too much onion grass the only thing I think you can do is cut some out. I don't know if they can be attached to the rose and look good but I haven't tried it so I really don't know. I'm sure whatever you do will look lovely. We are our own worst critics. Janet
  11. I did cut off some of the plastic baby's breath and attached to the rose. I fanned out the onion grass to put behind the roses. I didn't think it overwhelmed the rose at all. hth Janet
  12. Yep. Out of PA I believe. Didn't they burn down?
  13. I guess we were in the middle of our blackout when I posted. Vicky the colors are beautiful! Love the vibrant colors. Janet
  14. Trish they are soooo pretty. Great job. Janet
  15. I hope he does well. Those are very interesting. Janet
  16. Congratulations are definitely in order! I wish it was nationwide so we all could see. Maybe you'll be on Jay Leno next. Janet
  17. Wow! They all look perfect. Great job. Janet
  18. That is darling! I'm sure it will be her favorite outfit for many, many months. Janet
  19. Dani were did the ones you make turn out smooth? Mine were so ugly I called them preprimitives. When you used them did they smell? Janet
  20. I tried making some a few years ago and never again. It was a mess and I couldn't get them smooth at all. I've since read that they smell when lit but I would think the smell would go away after awhile. It was a challenge to figure out where to put them while drying. I used an egg carton, poked some holes in it, and stuck in the bulbs. It will be interesting to see if others have made them successfully. Janet
  21. I like it! Pretty colors too. I'm wondering about the slide show though. Is there more than two candles or did I not wait long enough? Janet
