  1. Thank you very much camoflauge, I agree with mystical_angel that I would be interested if you sell these. I need a new one and don't have time right now to locate all of the ingredients, I'm too busy testing candles. I will make some someday though. Can yours be stored in the freezer and used cold also?
  2. Does anyone else have any advice for this jar? I am having horrible luck with the double wicking, even with the 1212 in the larger jar. I am afraid to wick up too high for the bottom of the jar, it's much narrower than the top. I love the look of this jar.
  3. Thanks Katinka, Her link will let you view the chart. Check it out & let me know what you think.
  4. I guess the thing I like about this being on Excel is that you can sort it for your own needs. Example, say you use LX, ECO & CD wicks, you can sort just those 3 styles for your own use. Although, any list that is used for reference can be helpful right?
  5. I am excited to try this, I bought some BCN lip balm base to make gloss with my daughter. She loved it, wants to make more. My 2 year old eats it I think though, well she puts it on, licks it off, re-applies, licks again. It won't hurt her will it? I don't know how much she's licked before I catch her. LOL I want to try the solid perfume and the lotion bar using the Pink Sugar FO. I'm not sure of the % of FO to use for either. I measure in grams but figure in %, easier for me to make different size batches. Any suggestions?
  6. Great, I was just thinking about trying the chips, I tried the blocks but don't like shaving it off the block, thought the chips would be easier. I'm tired of the mess involved with liquids ,frosting and the nice frost line I was getting. So now what? Colorless candles?
  7. I can see them now, that was wierd. Those are absolutely beautiful. I love the "vase" you are using, think it will be a big seller?
  8. http://www.fragranceoilreviews.com/csbs.html Try this link, it helped me, there is another one but I can't find it right now.
  9. I know enough about computers to get the job done & get me in trouble. The whole jpeg thing is beyond my knowledge. Can you tell me what to try.
  10. Why can't I see these pictures? I want to see the rose...
  11. 5 columns and 75 rows. The wicks I compared were C, HTP, ECO, RRD, LX & CD. I think that's all of them. I did it in excel so they could be sorted and mixed together and resorted a different way if need be. I copy & pasted just the wicks I have here and sorted just them and it is so helpful, takes some of the guess work out of it. I would really like to share this to see what others think.
  12. OBI in Indy has tart burners for 4.50-5.50 & up depending on the model. If you live local, have a tax id, you can walk into their store and not have to pay for the case prices that you have to online. I'm sure other wholesalers have stores where you can do the same. I'm sure that these people are making what they need to make or they wouldn't do it. I think they probably mark the product up enough so they make a profit. Below is one on ebay from OBI (I ordered some of these in the recent co-op) They are selling it for starting bid of 9.99 and 5.95 shipping. This costs 5.95 to purchase. The link didn't work for the item, goto e-bay and copy/paste the number below into the search box & you'll see the burner. 290077882223
  13. Those are what I got in my starter kit. They sent RRD40 with everything. They worked well except I hated the mushroom.
  14. A co-op would be awesome but would that be cost effective? Double shipping on jars? Well, we could meet the minimum probably pretty easy I would assume, especially for the Metro jars. I think maybe a couple co-ops specific to the area you live in, I don't know. I have just started with the co-op thing. I'm sure someone out there would like to volunteer. Anyone live close to Indiana Glass that could pick up the jars? That would be ideal, you know in a perfect world:laugh2:
  15. OK, now I feel really dumb, I meant Pink Sugar. Maybe I need more sleep, or coffee!!!!! :laugh2:
  16. What were they going for? I am losing all faith in the whole e-bay thing after researching some of the "wholesalers" that are available for e-bay sellers.
  17. I burnt the smaller of the 2 today, after 6 hours burn, I got 1/2" MP & almost cleaned the corners. This is GB444/ Lilac fo/ purple & burgandy mix liquid dye/ and (2) ECO 8 wicks. What is acceptable for this type of jar, I am not used to DW or the square thing. I am afraid to wick up because of the taper in the jar. Anyone have input on this? I think I'm giving up on the larger one, I'm getting really awful MP with that one, I'm going to try one more time with maybe HP 1212 or 1312, haven't decided yet. I just love the look of this jar and would like to get it wicked.
  18. :bump: :bump: :bump: :bump: :bump: :bump: Anyone know how I can post my chart? I have it in Excel, have tried to copy/paste into word but it is not working right. Any ideas?
  19. What kind of base do you use for the solid perfumes? Do you use different fragrance oils than for candles or do you just need to make sure they are skin safe? I would like to play with these for my own use.
  20. Before I started making candles, I had never heard of Love Spell. The only reason I ordered it was it was on ICS top 10 sellers. This may sound dumb but what is Love Spell a dupe of?
  21. Fruity: Chocolate Covered Strawberries-ICS Floral: Lilac- ICS Bakery: Banana Nut Bread- MC Fresh/Clean: Only tried High Cotton- MC Don't like it though. Dupe: Pink Sugar- ICS
