I agree with Karyn about Millcreek. I have had great luck with all of their oils that I have gotten so far.

No, I haven't tried them yet. I hate the thought of ordering 100 of them and not liking them. Are they stronger adhesive than others? I kinda like the look of them with the tab and all.....

I have used the wick stick ems from JBN and hated them. I have been using high temp hot glue for months and am now having problems with the wicks not staying secured to the jar after the candle cools. (or at least that's when I notice) I am thinking that there has to be a better wick sticker out there than the one I used. I really don't want to go the silicone route but I'm at a loss...Any advice on what works for you? I would like to stay with my main suppliers: ICS, Millcreek, & BCN. Thanks.

Wouldn't spraying the alcohol add that to the soap? What's the purpose?

You all have been such an inspiration to me that I had to try my hand at soaps. I am going the easy MP route for now but want to make something special... I want to make childrens soap, ones with the bugs & things in it for the boys, some kind of pink princess thing for the girls, and the ducks. I am going to get my first shippment of mp soap tomorrow. My question is how do you put the toys into the bar? Do you wait til it cools a bit, pour in 2 layers? I tried searching but I am not coming up with anything, maybe I'm wording it wrong, who knows. Also, can anyone point me in the right direction for the ducks? I've seen some really cute ones on here but all I am finding are the plain ones. Thanks for any advice you can give me. Erin

What I have seen so far is impressive but I want to make sure I am making the right decision on a web site. If I use them to build my site and get a domain, can I move my site and domain to another company if I am not satisfied? I am full of uncertainty about the whole web site thing, for me, it is like a whole new world.

I am testing some right now that I added a little corn starch to (very niiiiice). I haven't really tried the perfume balm because I am not sure how much FO to use or how to package. I have tried searching, but can't spend countless hours on this silly contraption to find the answer.

I love ICS rose garden. Chauna, who is your main supplier for FO's? How about getting samples from them? I think you will get alot of different opinions on oils and maybe you should narrow the question to just your suppliers, try to keep shipping to a minimum. Good luck choosing just one.

I have seen so many rude responses on this board and yours is very refreshing. Thank you. I have started with the lip balm base and love it. Tweaked it a little with BW to firm it up, but other than that am having fun with it. It is interesting to see what all you can do with that stuff. I ended up ordering a case for myself after the co-ops. I asked the man from the wood rose company how to scent them. He said that I should just drop the oil on a couple of roses in the arrangement. I ended up putting a drop into each rose (rose garden) and my friends received them for Valentines day, loved them. I even scented one dozen with love spell. With this much oil, it scented their whole downstairs, one friend even told me her whole house smelled like roses. I am going to order 1 oz bottles of the oil for refresher to sell.

Just a bit confused........ Where is the best place to register a domain name? There seems to be as many places to go as there are stars in the sky. How do you know that you are truly getting what you are paying for?

I use GB 444 and have had good luck with the ECO wicks. Try ECO 8 or 10 (depending on the FO) That's what has worked for me. Good luck, I know it's frustrating.
