    I have a spout on mine. I love the convenience of it, one less thing to clean up when I'm done. Everyone has their preferences though. I agree, do the search, you'll find alot. I never thought of leaving the spout off though.

    Thanks Stella, I feel dumb, I've read that before. Does anyone use it with GB444? I believe it is already in that wax.

    Thanks, I have had the same luck with ICS. I have only tried a couple that I didn't like, cukes & melon is great for mp soap and air fresheners but IMO stinks in wax. I love her Pineapple Upsidedown Cake, Lilac, PINK SUGAR (my fav) Fresh Pear, Chestnuts & brown sugar. There's more, but it's too early, my brain is too fuzzy to think yet.

    Yea, I think it was a couple weeks ago. I am an ICS fan but don't know anything about Snowtop. Can you recommend some great oils from them?

    Be careful, this is as addictive as candle making. I like your molds better with the soap than with the salt rock thing LOL!!!! :laugh2: :laugh2: Good luck with the soap, you should try finding small toys to put into a bar of soap for the kids, much easier.     Thanks everyone for your input. The main reason I was asking is because a friends daughter has a 6 oz Metro candle and was expecting it to fill her house with scent. My candles usually have great scent throw, but I think that is a bit much to expect, even for soy. My 6 oz will fill a room but not a house. I was just wanting to find a general guideline to recommend , such as for a large great room, 1 lg candle or 2 small etc. I'm not having much luck finding that.

    I made a friend a candle, used 8% FO with GB444 wax. She says she can't smell it, no HT. Since this is just a tester candle, can I remelt this and add more FO to it (up to 11%) or is is just doomed to be a firestarter? I have re-melted and re-poured candles but never thought of adding more FO. This was a new FO that she wanted to try to see if it smelled like one she had bought elsewhere, I'm bummed it didn't work, CT smelled just like the other. Any help would be appreciated.

    Is there somewhere that lists how large of a room each size candle should scent? I know that my 6 oz metro will not do a large room, just want a rule of thumb and can't figure out what to search for. (I know that alot of it depends on your particular wax, fo %, etc., I am just looking for a starting point) Thanks for your input.

    I've been playing, I rinsed them, left them in the collander for about 10-15 min. then poured them out onto a towel and patted with another towel to dry. I put mine into a mason jar, added the color, shook gently, added the FO, shook gently, poured out on cookie sheet lined w/aluminum foil to dry. So far so good, they smell great and are beautiful.

    Bette, I get great HT and CT with the pineapple upside down cake FO. That's part of why I love it.

    I love the look of this wax. How hard is it to wick? The soy took me a while to figure out, don't know if I'm ready to jump into another wax but I would love to try this.
