  1. ljbristrow - I remember wiping the clothes line before hanging out clothes also. Remember in winter the clothers would freeze the minute you hung them out. This was my and my sisters job and with 5 children mother was washing clothes real often - on the old wringer washer!!! I am sure this dates us:grin2:
  2. I got my blackberry sage rom Natures Garden. Dont know how close a dupe it is but it smells good to me:D
  3. http://www.homeenergy.org/archive/hem.dis.anl.gov/eehem/98/980109.html This is a very informative article on this. There are many answers for this type of soot. hth
  4. I agree with Bugtussle - WSP is best, even though I used Lonestar for a long time and It was good also. But when I tried WSP I decided I liked that one a little better. hth
  5. I like honeysuckle rose - wasn't there a song or a movie by that name a long time ago?:undecided
  6. This does not have to do with the .99 sale, but I get all my wax and wicks (htp) from them. They are the closest supplier to me. I love their Mimosa Mandarin and at Christmas their Christmas Cabin. Have just begun ordering fo from them and have several I have not tested. Rain water and Lavender, cucumber, sage are 2 of them. Like you said, their customer service is great. I don't need another fo supplier but I am sure I will be adding more of theirs as time goes by. hth
  7. At Levine you can buy the bowls separately. hth
  8. I also like the Olive Blossom from BNL but couple days ago made the Marigold Mint from AH and man is that awesome!
  9. I got the LC from Cierra, don't know about soaps but in candle - paraffin- and lotion etc it is wonderful;)
  10. I have a hard time with jars also. The jelly jar, or I call it the crystal jelly jar, is very pretty but you need to get the gold lids. That gives it a more upscale look.
  11. Those are pretty - I'am with you, don't know which is worse for me, fo or jars. Keep trying new ones and running out of room for both:yay:
  12. I use the waterproof labels also, ordered from same place. I print with an Epson Stylus color 860 - it is old but prints great, and my labels come out very clean and crisp looking. I really like the inkjet printers better that the lases and I always get Epson when I do replace printers. hth edited to say I don't have to change any kind of paper settings or anything.
  13. Nutcracker was a hugh hit at Christmas - could probably rename it. Sorta mapley smell. Really great. hth
  14. Hot orange danish, coconut cream pie, mango sage tea, apples & oak, blackberry sage, lotus blossom, christmas wassail, angel type, southern homes, ylang ginger, pumpkin crunch cake - this was very popular this Christmas, are just a few that come to mind. I have quite a few of theirs and have really been pleased with them, several new ones I haven't tested yet. Seems like most of my scents come from them, WSP, and Lonestar. I use paraffin wax.
  15. It's also possible that if the fo was not incorporated into the wax good then on the last pour more of the fo went into that one candle isn't it?
  16. I 2nd Candlescience. I have started buying some of their fo and I been satisfied with all of them. I get my wax there also - much closer to me than anyone else and their customer service is also great!

I take it this is Natures Garden? I did not like it. hth
  18. Yes - the Lonestar is supposed to be a dupe - I had tried the lotion in the past and it seems very good to me. I personally really like it and it has sold pretty good also.
  19. I love WSP - I also order a lot of fo and B&B stuff from them - all very good. I always save order on fo until I have the 50.00 for the free shipping, and as good as I love fo's it not hard to come up with an order! Deb even called me not to long ago on a Sat about an email I had sent them with a question. Sure hope things work out for them. Really don't want to go elsewhere.
  20. Lonestar has a Red Currant and Thyme Tea that smell real good. hth
  21. http://www.candlebusinesscorner.com/main.htm If you go to the web site you can download all the form and order sheet they suggest for using I think. You may have to be a member but if I remember it is no big deal to register. Been a long time since I became member. They have lots of info on just about anything you need as related to candle making and the business end also. hth
  22. I don't know what it is about fig - but my customers seem it say - UHHHH! I love fig - me & my SIL. My DS turns her nose up at it. Brown Sugar & Fig a couple have got, but I have a Fig from wsp that is real good and I really love the Osmanthus & Fig from Cierra. I know this doesn't answer your ? but just had to throw my 2$ worth!
  23. I also have authorize.net and paypal, though my shopping cart only uses authorize net. I offer a link for paypal payments. hth
  24. That's is how I always buy mu fo from them. They have had the free shipping on orders over 50.00 for a long time - not sure how long. When I run out of something I just go and enter it in my shopping cart and it saves your cart. Then when I get 50.00 I order. Of course it's not hard to get 50.00 with the price of their fo, but that is mostly what I use, it does not take as much of theirs as some of the others I use.
  25. Hope this is the right place for this question? When you make gift baskets for shipping how do you "pack" them to keep the bag and bow from getting all mashed and crumpled?
