  1. I see alot of vendors decorating the tops of their wax tarts with sugar crystals, candy sprinkles, glitter, etc... Do any of you do that, or do you perfer not to have those things on the tarts that you make? ETS: If you do,..do these things scratch your warmer bowls when you wipe it out?
  2. Those prices just wouldn't work for me, I do mostly wholesale and I struggle now just keeping my prices from going to high for my area. If it works for you or someone else thats great,..just alittle to steep for my business. I have never paid over $20 for a bottle of FO.
  3. Looks like your not the only one thats not to happy about this,.. if you read through the comments about her (M.E) Sugar Cookie Dough Bread price increase, they also think its bad business on her part for no advance notice. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Haleys-Heavenly-Scents/124455297596325
  4. You can boil water in a pot over the stove and steam it away. I get alot less ash from not letting my soap go through the gel phase.
  5. Oh yes I do,..The best that I have tried is from Indiana Candle Supplies and only $13.95 for 16 oz'er,.its rated a 5 star also. Her shipping is great too. http://candlesupplys.us/search.aspx?find=blackberry ETS: You can also find some of Angie's (M.E.) fragrances from her previous business (Snowtop) at ICS also, just look for ST by the fragrance names. (Just incase you didnt know)
  6. I have warned people about her business when I first joined this forum about 6 yrs ago when she was using the name Snowtop. I used to pick-up supplies from her, and I can tell you that you are correct. She does gets you hooked and then gouges,..sadly, some people fall for it and they will pay that,..not me. ETS: Have you looked at other companies to see if they sell the fragrances that you want besides AFB (I know a few companies that have that one). I know she blends alot of her own now, so wondering if you used any of those also? E again TS: Wow,..just visited her site,..so she is calling it "free shipping" and charging $25 for the FO and shipping. She is getting alot of extra $ charging that much extra to ship EACH bottle. YIKES!!
  7. Hey ladies,..was just wondering if you still wanted to participate in the CO-OP? I will be ordering Saturday after a couple people can pay on Friday. OPPS,..I thought I was sending a PM as well.

  8. Just Scent discontinued this scent awhile ago and I was wondering if anyone has ever found something simular? Thanks!!
  9. I know this is a old thread but for the sake of future search inquiries, I just found one and its so super close. Its at TheCandleMakerStore (Soft Blankets).
  10. ICS aka indianacandlesupplies.com has a Blue Raspberry Icee. I like it.
  11. Just something alittle spicy to add to vanilla, I've have requests for a spicy vanilla. I've done good with Pineapple Ginger, so maybe ginger would work.
  12. Opinions please, what would be a good spicy scent to add to a vanilla? Edited: thats not cinnamon or clove (I am allergic to even the scent)
  13. Does that fragrance smell better in soap then it does OOB?
  14. I just recently placed my first order with them for the White Lavender and although I can only share that OOB it smells AMAZING!!!
  15. Just dont see a reason to use it in shampoo, I would rather just use castor for more bubbles because I always have that on hand.
  16. Hmmm,..Can you make the baking soda/distilled water mix and leave it in a old shampoo bottle for future uses, or should it be made up each time before washing hair? And the ACV rince, is just the ACV? I want to try this. Thanks
  17. I'm just looking for a conditioning shampoo that I can make myself without those chances. I have dry hair and I want to get away from SLSA or SLS that is in most shampoos,..and I dont want to have to buy the "natural" stuff because it would be more cost effective if I could make something of my own. Thanks Hun!!
  18. I was reading on another board that alot of ladies cant use shampoo bars because it makes their hair brittle due to high PH in soap/shampoo bars, so they suggest that you use a vinegar rince after using a shampoo bar to remove that residue. On another site, I seen where a soaper listed a PH graph like what ingredients change the PH in soap bars for instance, citrus (lemons) etc.., and apple cider vinegar was on that graph as lowering PH in soap. SO my question is, couldnt you just add apple cider vinegar as a part of you water for your lye, or would it lower the PH to not set up your batch?? Thanks for any input on this!!!
  19. Does anyone know what it smells like? Does any supplier carry the FO? Thanks!
