  1. Do you print labels for just enough product that you make at one time, or do you print a bunch up ahead of time and just file them away?
  2. LMAO!!! I really do like "Captain Save-A-Ho",..I bet that would be a HUGE seller too. :)
  3. The names such as Monkey Farts, Lick Me All Over, Duck Farts, etc... are they more of a turn-off for customers or do most people just giggle and think they are cute? I just had a lady on my FB page commented that she would never buy such names. What do you all think?
  4. Legally you dont need ingredients on soaps,..but other things you do. I just prefer to put it on soaps as well,..you never know when a ingredient may cause irritation on someone.
  5. I think anything you give to someone even if free, is required to have ingredients. If I were you, I would type ingredients several times on some printer paper and cut them out and just have them in a basket to hand to them with the sample. Never can be to careful. JMHO
  6. Have some of you ever bought tarts from other online vendors? I have, and yes, I even make and sell them.:embarasse lol
  7. I like ICS toasted marshmallow,..it has that toasted note.
  8. The Sugar milk I dont think smells much like sugar milk to me,..it is just vanilla'y to me. And she must have raised the price on All Hollows Eve, it wasnt that much when I looked a couple months ago.
  9. Copied & Pasted from yesterday on other Aztec thread...... Aztec is my #1 supplier and I use 416 soy with alittle 4625. I have tried almost all of the suppliers known and I have NG and The Candlemaker Store and The Candlesource that I use often, but for fragrances that I do have shipped to me here in Ohio, I will go to Aztec over all others outside of Ohio because of their customer service and their sales,.. they also have codes often for 10% off. I just got their Buttercream today,..and I recently posted in the Classies looking for someone that may have some of Daystar's Buttercream because I didnt want to order 1 bottle from them and pay $8 shipping,..anyways, I am just HYSTATIC. I poured this afternoon the Buttercream in tarts and is all I can say is I am one happy lady,..it is delicious so far, I let mine cure for a few days before I even melt them, but the cold throw is very strong and a true straight buttercream and I use 416 wax with alittle 4625. If the HT is good, I have just found me a new buttercream and its cheaper. Oh yah, oh yah!!! *getdown*

  11. I haven't decided what to blend with it yet. Wanted to have a name in mind first. ETS: I love the name Nutcracker
  12. Actually there is very few, and all of them except one with not much feedback is pretty old and their are some new Sampler Box Companies out there, as well as new crafters to the market that may be involved or have been involved in such.
  13. I was just contacted in regards to having my product/samples (50 of them) to be in Sampler Boxes that will go out to people who purchase them. Have any of you ever participated in something like this? It seems to be a good way to get your products out there and potentional new customers. Alot of the vendor's are putting in special promotions or discounts in their samples as well,..I have never done a promotion or discount because I'm not even sure if using the PayPal shopping cart even allows you to set something like that up. Any advice/input?
  14. I blend alot of my own Fall/Christmas scents and I want to blend something with Sandalwood (love sandalwood) and I want a cute name for it,..I thought it would be fun to see what others come up with. *Hint* What does Santa have that could smell of something & sandalwood? Maybe his Sleigh? Any ideas?
  15. Can you up your water content a bit and add some sodium lactate maybe. (?)
  16. I am still using the 6 cube ones. In my opinion people like them just fine, it gives them more of a chance to get more scents in them for their money.
  17. So you are saying she "tarts" them up,..meaning, she puts like little charms (etc..) on the wax? I seen a Etsy seller do that,..her shop name is The Bathing Garden. Wonder where she gets the tiny charms(?) they are adorable.
  18. TallTayl,.... I have thought about selling single tarts,..I agree I think they will buy more knowing they can get more of a variety for their money. I do have 3x3 ziplock bags I could use. I will be putting them in little rainbow colored oval buckets (bowl size).
  19. I was thinking about that because of the ease of pouring in them and not having to pop them out of the molds and bagging them.
  20. Which would you sell at a show if you had to chose just one in-order to offer more scents (limited table space)??? We sell the 2 fluted tarts in baggies for $1.25 and the 2 oz. scent shots for $1.50. Opinions Please!!!
  21. I agree with you, but she said she's tried them singled wicked and double wicked and she said she thinks she gets a stronger throw from double wicks. Which doesnt really make sense to me if you have the same depth of melt pool as a single wick. Its another online vendor who sells them double wicked and claims they throw better then a single wick.
