  1. I have always had a problem with that too. Lonestar finally just gave us a small bag of them to replace them in the bottles when needed. You might be on to something with the bottle with the yorker caps. I will have to ponder this a little more.
  2. Can't be any worse than my rebatch that looked like spam....come on, let's see the pic.
  3. I also got some of that at the conference, haven't done anything with it yet. Can't wait to try it out.
  4. Nice job on those Grumpy, love your mottle!
  5. That is beautiful Brenda! I am getting ready to try the whipped soap very soon. I also just got that Just Ripe Banana, so I could try banana soap. Please let us know how it does in the soap, can't wait to see cut pics!
  6. Very nice! Love those colors! What did you use for the red color? Can't wait to smell that one too....you have been busy girl!
  7. Absolutely beautiful soap girl! I love the different shades of brown, even though that wasn't what you were initially going for. Can't wait to smell how that Nag Champa did in the soap.
  8. I am also getting ready to do whipped soap for a swap. Interested to see how your's turns out. Interesting colors in this batch.
  9. Meant to say Taylored and AA are close to each other, sorry. Lonestar is in Keller and it is just past Southlake if you know where that is at, between Southlake and Fort Worth. Lonestar and Taylored are about an hour apart. Robert at Taylored does all of their own oils, so I am surprised that he wouldn't give you any information. I have used several of their FO's and have been happy with them. I also buy soaping supplies that I need in a pinch, from them. Lonestar has some good oils too and I still carry some of them. I have not been to AAA or Just By Nature so I can't speak on their stuff.
  10. Nice job Val....be sure and post pics after you unmold them.
  11. One of my favorite grapefruit FO's, beautiful soaps Brat!
  12. I don't have a lot of experience with the C3, but wanted to say welcome to the board. There are a few suppliers in the area that have great stuff. Not sure where you have shopped for your supplies. www.lonestarcandlesupply.com www.tayloredconcepts.com www.aaacandlesupply.com Lonestar and AAA are very close to each other and of course Greenleaf that was mentioned and Just By Nature. These are all within driving distance in the DFW area.
  13. Very nice, look like they are glowing.
  14. Very nice, bet it smells wonderful!
  15. I ditto that, just love the swirls in that one.
  16. I ditto what Brat says, wish I could be there too. A unique jar like Brat suggested, or a unique FO or embeds, such as chunks or something. Maybe some utensils to make some cool effects in the candle, such as spoons or forks and such. Hmmm.....sorry can't be of more help. Let us know how it all goes when you get back.
  17. I also got the Hot Spiced Cocoa and Fresh Sugar Cane and didn't really care for either of them. That is a great idea on putting the sniffie into a spray. I might do that with a little cyclo with some of mine.
