I just got my order yesterday and got 2 sniffies.....but I also ordered several sniffies, now I have a ton of sniffies, LOL! Thinking about placing an order from some of the new sniffies I just got, like I really need them. :rolleyes2
I agree with Scented. I am betting a lot of them would be good in wax, but are way too expensive. I think if I am spending more than $22 or $23 a bottle, it is gonna be strictly for soap and B&B. JMO.
I am no expert, but it looks good to me. As Bunny would say, just do it, and see how it turns out, LOL! Not sure there is a such thing as the "perfect" recipe, whatever recipe works well for you, is YOUR "perfect" recipe.
Yup, I get hairline cracks across the jar in the winter. My deduction is that it is from the heat in the house. Seems that as soon as the heat is off and the air is turned on in the spring/summer, the crack issues goes away. May not be that way for everyone, but that is what I have found to be the case.
Beeswax does not promote soot, at least not in my candles. It does however help with throw, smooth tops and a little with the frosting. You will need to adjust your percentage in the winter from the summer usually. I use 4% in summer and 3% in winter.
That would be a blast.....a CT gtg at Greenleaf! Anytime after school out for the summer is good for me, and whenever Scented, Kimberly and Smart Tart can come in from out of town. Woohoo!
Hey Bunny.....how about Waco? They even have a small regional airport that is serviced by American Eagle, connecting from DFW. They also have more to do and a ton of places to stay. Centerville doesn't have a lot of lodging, well okay, I only found 1 hotel there, LOL! Not sure about April, kids in school. But definately something to think about and start planning soon. I am definately going to be making a trip to see you before that though.
