I'd love to sell a belly balm for moms with itchy bellies. I thought of a diaper rash cream too. I have sooo many things in my line right now I don't know when to stop! (That night be a whole 'nother post) Just wondering if anyonehas had luck selling this.

Sounds great! I'm having a grand opening open house in the spring. I'm moving and will be in a new neighborhood. I'm already trying to get the buzz out there about it. I plan on having it the whole weekend though! Friday 5-9pm Saturday 10-9pm Sunday 12-6pm This is so people can come and go as they please.. no excuses that they are busy that day or time. :teehee: It'll be a rough weekend for me and the family but I think worth it in the end. I'm going to have a laptop set up to let them surf my site and get familiar with it for future ordering and to show off my website. Cash and carry, definetly free samples, a giveaway-raffles-basket Bring a friend get a free gift a bag of goodies with the samples and cute little cheapo promo items with my logo and web address on them.. coupons for 10%? off first internet order for people who purchase at the open house refreshments I'll be selling B&B so I'll have plenty of soaps, scrubs and lotions by my sink for demonstrations and try-outs I'm sending out a 'save the date' magnets about 6-8 weeks before and invitations out 3-4 weeks before. I get magnets and invites really cheap at vistaprint.com. Once you order from them, they keep sending you free stuff and great deals. I'm letting everyone know that it won't be like a home party.. just really casual. Walk around look at and try my products (hopefully BUY them) I'll offer refreshments and talk to them about whatever products they are interested in. I'll have the whole dining room, formal living room and kitchen packed full of nicely displayed products. I'm inviting neighbors, friends, family, church members, and I'm sending my kids to school with invited to give their friends for their moms and their teachers. (shameless, I know) I'm also thinking about stopping by some local gift shops and inviting the owners... maybe some wholesale deals wll come of it! Just some of my ideas. Good luck!!

I've heard rave review about this yummy "oatmeal cookie" smelling FO but I just ordered some and added it to my body butter. Nothing! Really! it hardly smelled like anything at all. I ended up throwing a bunch of Vanilla in it and now it's just a vanilla body butter. Anyone have a specific brand of oatmeal, milk & Honey that I should try?

I found those too. I just called Micheals Craft Store again and asked the manager to cal lme back. I'll try a little schmoozing. Oh wierd coincidence.. you see the chinasprout logo on top? I'm finding that thats the busines world for ya! I quit my job as a freelance web designer recently (to do this instead) and I always had clients up my you-know-what trying to get me to finish their work in a hurry and on ridiculous deadlines. When it came down to it.. they weren't even ready with their web content and would act like it was no big deal, therefore the project would be at a standstill. ARRGH! I feel your pain!

I was at Micheals today and I found the most perfect take out containers that match my theme perfectly with the halloween stuff.. orange, green, red dots.. but not too halloween-ish looking. I WANT THESE! They are just sooo perfect! I already had my logo made up and these containers match just right! Nashville wraps doesn't have them as far as I can tell. I looked on the bottom of the container and it says: Pooch & Sweertheart PS LLC in California (From Micheals Craft Store) I searched for that manufacturer online and couldn't find anything. I even called 411 and found nothing. I saked the lady at the craft store and she said they are not allowerd to reveal their suppliers. They are charging a dollar each and are only seasonal with the halloween stuff. I'd like to buy these in bulk somewhere and use them to base my whole company theme colors on. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do???

I believe it's more sanitary and more handy in the shower to use malibu tubes for sugar/salt scrubs. I'm torn though because I like the look of the jars better, but I understand the ease of the tube. (my scrubs are FBB based, not oil if that matters) Hmm. Which do you prefer? Your customers? And a question.. Do they even make 12 ounce clear malibu tubes? I can't find any.... Edited: I found 8 oz crystal clear ones at essentials of catalina but I don't like the cap colors. It's the best I found so far

My Sister-in-law has been my guinni pig for all my testing and she loves my products, she told me she she's been telling lots of people about what I'm doing and a lot of them are interested in coming to a home party at her house and soon! I don't even know what I'd do except stand up there and talk about each of my products. I'm looking for advice and insight on this. What exeactly do you do at a B&B home party?

Yeah, it depends on the supplier. I called NG and they said "no problem, go ahead! just don't take the pictures" But they have some yummt pictures and I was dissappointed I couldn't have them.. but hten I went in istock.com and bought a just few of them and/or similiar ones myself. :teehee:

as a retired web designer I can tell you that most people despise musical sites and may quickly click the back button! Just think.. you're sneaking online at work right next to your bosses cubical... then all of the sudden music or sounds start blasting! oops! BUSTED!

My search is over! Hooray!!! The Thick Soy lotion is fab! The customer service they provide there is A+++++. I highly recommend them.
