  1. I just got the new chocolate fudge from candlescience, it smells so chocolately, almost like brownie mix.
  2. It may just be my computer, but for me the font is showing up super small on certain pages. And I know this probably doesn't have much to do with anything, but when you click on the catgory "gift collections" there is a picture of tealights on top of ribbon. I keep seeing that and am afraid that the ribbon is going to catch on fire, (I know it can't, its just a picture) but that is what the pic makes me think of. Other than that the navigation is very easy to follow and the pages load very quickly.
  3. The last time I bought this FO, I got it from brambleberry.com. Check and see if they have it there.
  4. I think I am going to take a few days off, well at least until my new supplies get here this week;). I think I will just work on some other products until then. I try my hardest to take a break from this soaping, but then I always realize that soaping is my stress reliever.
  5. It's been working just fine for me.
  6. I can get the big buckets to store it in, so maybe I should just go ahead and get it. Thanks.
  7. Okay he checked and the liquid lye is 50% water solution, but he told me that one of his suppliers has lye beads also and he gets them in 50 lb. bags at a time. Not sure what I am going to do with a 50 lb. bag, but depending on the price it might be worth it.
  8. Okay can someone please take these soap fairies off my hands for a while, I think this has been my worst soaping week ever. (possibly month) First my mold breaks, then I have bad oils and have to start all over (as per previous post), then on top of everything I misread my recipe and didn't even notice till this morning. My mom wanted a basic soap nothing special, so I was using a few oils no additives (she's picky like that), coconut oil, palm oil, apricot kernel oil, and olive oil. Well for some reason my brain was turned off and I added olive oil, palm oil, castor oil, and apricot kernel oil. For one, I read my bottle wrong and added that castor instead of my coconut. And two when I was measuring the palm oil I read the amount for the olive oil and ended up adding 4 oz. too much of the palm oil. So now my bar will probably be too soft and have no cleansing. :undecided At least they're pretty bars, I think I might need to rebatch, any opinions. Just needed to vent to those who understand soap probelms.
  9. I have contacted BizzyB's and she is going to help me with this, thank you all for the help, I'm just not that great at the graphic side of this business.
  10. This isn't one of main suppliers, just someone I wanted to try since I was getting a mold anyways. I am definately going to send them an email and let them know. The mold itself was awesome, but after seeing the oils I scrubbed the thing down real good just to make sure.
  11. My soap mold had broken and until I was able to buy a new one, I bought a smaller substitute one from an online supplier. Anyhow, they had also sent me some coconut oil and palm oil both of which when I melted them had pet hairs (at least I think they belonged to a pet) swimming all in them, and not one or two, a whole bunch. Ewww. I don't want to ask them for a replacement because I don't know what else will come in them, should I ask for a refund. Just looking for advice before I contact them. TIA.
  12. Thank you for the information. I think I will have to try this stuff out and see what happens once I figure out whats in it.
  13. From what I've read online if it is liquid it is mixed with water. (still waiting to see what he says though) He can get so many different oils and stuff, he just doesn't like to ever share this info. with me, I always find out by reading through his product descriptions. I will post back tomorrow though.
  14. It's at his warehouse so I'm not sure of the exact ingredients. He believes it to be pure sodium hydroxide, He uses it to make cleaning chemicals hand soaps for kitchens, detergents for laundries, etc and thats one of the ingredients. I would think it would have water to it also, but he doesn't think so. I will have him check the labels and will let you all know.
  15. I just found out that my father can get liquid lye by the gal. for inexpensive, but has anyone tried soaping with liquid? Does it make a difference in the soap?
  16. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, LOL. I am still learning photoshop so I am just trying things to see how it works as I go along. I did what you said on the darken thing, but nothing changed?
  17. I tried that and it didn't seem to work, but thank you.
  18. No, I haven't. I remember reading about BizzyBs before, but couldn't find the post with her link. I just searched again under the screen name, so I will pm her. Thank you.
  19. A friend of mine drew me a picture that I am going to be using as my bath and body labels. The thing is he just drew it and didn't add any color to it, he thinks it will look better if I color it on the computer. I have been trying with photoshop for days now and am having some trouble, okay alot of trouble. Does anyone know how this can be colored, with detail added and such? Or what program to use, do I need one of those drawing programs or is this possible any other way? Thanks.
  20. I have two things I use for my behind that when I do them even for a week or two I can already notcie the difference, but thats when I have the time to do them. Anyways there is a workout video I got at target called "Shape" Hips, Buns, and Thighs it is an awesome video and not one of those videos that are so difficult you give up. The other thing I did was get one of those Nordic Trac elliptical machines. I bought it from an online site, I forget the name, but if I remember I will let you know, anyhow it was $1000 I think, but the great thing was they let me do a payment plan of $99 per month. And let me tell you that thing was so worth it. I get so bored on the treadmills, this one is a little more fun for me.
  21. I found the bottle packaging link of all links, I think I'm in bottle heaven. Anyways I thought I would share with everyonr this link because everyone has been so helpful to me. http://www.thomasnet.com/products/bottles-7031743-1.html?WT.mc_t=pi&WT.mc_n=y&WT.srch=1 let me know what you think.
  22. For the green tea you could add green tea extract to the butter, also try adding a bit of cocoa butter with a little vitmain e and collagen which I believe I saw at ingredientstodiefor. Or you could try using the ingredients and incorporating them into an emulsified body butter with jojoba as the oil. HTH
  23. I am in love with those products and have been looking for a similar scent. The texture and the way they feel are so great. I know I should love my products first, but these are two items I cannot do without. The containers do very well in the shower (I've dropped them a few times).
  24. Your products look amazing. I love the containers and labels, just by looking at the pictures, it makes you want to grab the product and go take a shower.
  25. The samples are on the site along with the other items, (at least I think I put them there, I need to go and double check myself now). There will be many more colors added soon, I'm still working on them.
