  4. Thank you. This receipe takes a little longer to harden but feels so nice. I just wonder if I need the shea butter with the gm. I will know more in a couple weeks of curing.
  5. he has different liners now that are leak proof. I think he changed things since there was some problems. mine has never leaked but the new ones are a once piece liner. I am not advertising for him just letting you know that he has improved them.
  6. The powder feels great. I have used the milk also. Just using up the powder I have first before buying liquid. I add to oil/lye in pan then it doesn't turn brown. I chill my goats milk.
  7. Wondering if I should change anything with this receipe. Very nice, soft feeling soap. Love goat's milk soap. Palm Kernel 3.36 oz. shea butter 3.84 lard 5.28 coconut oil 13.44 olive oil 19.68 castor oil 2.4 oz. goat's milk powder (paste) added to lye/oil mixture. Made soap with room temperature method. <img src="http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb302/diinman/dcp_4888.jpg">
  8. I make a coffee scoop per lb. of soap and just add enough water to make a thin paste. I add the paste the same time I add my fo to the lye/oil in the pan. I also add my coloring on top of my soap in the pan before pouring. this is my goat's milk soap.
  9. I love this guys molds. Have had over a year and no leaks. easy to use. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_1&listing_id=42046935

  11. i tried to make them with melt and pour soap for the topping but they won't stick to the bath bomb cupcake bottom. I have merange can try to use. those are so cute. great job.
  12. oh, i know brown sugar and fig is not a 60's i meant i want to add it to my line, i love the scent. olive blossom is another great one, thanks.
  13. ok, i took some kiwi bath liquid coloring from BC and just poured some with a little alcholol to thin a little and used gloved and blended up well in a bowl. I blowed dried the rocks then added 25 % fo and 25% dpg and 2 large pipettes of glycerin. smells great so far and shinier. i could blow dry it but thought i would let it sit over night. I will test in the morning. Oh, they said you could mist the coloring on but took forever so just poured the bath coloring mixed with a little alcohol and worked just fine.
  14. i use the jumbo salt rocks also from salt works
  15. i just did the misting them with fo and they smell stronger than adding a few drops. not sure how they are in warmers yet. i have not tried dpg and not sure the ratio.
  16. gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. how in the world did you swirl like that?
  17. I keep searching the internet for receips to add oil, etc. to salt rocks for oil warmers. I can't seem to find any. I did see one on salt works that you just mist spray your fo to the rocks and let dry on parchment paper. Is tht all you have to do? does this way make the scent last long? Thanks. enquiring minds want to know, lol
  18. yes, i would do a grapefruit mix, too. I love lavender vanilla esp. in bath bombs. Have to make that in an oil for sure. thanks for reminding me :smiley2:
  19. Thank you. Have those scents and love them. I also love the fruit type scents such as grapefruit, etc.
  20. never tried the daystar lush but when i use 6006, all my scents seem to throw very well with 1 oz.., esp. if the fo is a good quality like daystar's and NG's.
  21. I am trying to add new scents and would love some nice upscale smelling spa fo's for my salts and oil warmers mostly and for my 70/30 wax candles. I know I also need to add patchoulli, sandalwood, nag champa, brown sugar and fig, white tea to my line for the ones who want the 60's scents as well. I saw on one post where salty sea air was a nice ocean scent. I would like to find some nice fruit scents also like grapefruit and some nice upscale spa scented fo's. I hate to buy a lot of oils just to sniff so hoping someone can jump in here and help me out with suggestions. Thanks! :rolleyes2
  22. i know mms sage has one . just change the amount to 3 lbs. and it will tell you the percentages.
  23. this is my third day burning the same candle and it is still great. I did however, trim off the wick (with fingers, lol) close to the wax and it snaps and pops more. Mine is burning fine so far.
