But the Donna lady emailed me this morning asking for my phone number becuase she wanted to call me "about today" I emailed her back and ask "what about today?" She said she wanted to talk to me in person about "my request" What? I gave it to her this morning but have not heard back. I have no idea what she could be talking about. Maybe she is on CT? I have always wanted the kind of picture where it looks like your product is floating in thin air. I am working with beckie, since she is the best. I am usually good at taking critcism. But Sharon is right, not that i shouldn't change my pictures but what is she offering me? Maybe i just needed a good kick in the butt to get motivated on my pictures again....Thank you everybody.

You know...i don't know. Just some more coverage i guess. There was a part in her newsletter to be featured and i emailed her and that was her response about the pictures. I looked at other people who have been featured and i think their pictures are dark too? I don't know. exposure.

I want to change my photos to make it just the product and white out or crop out the background. Is $3 a photo about right? I am trying to learn to paint shop pro....but i can find any tutorials and i just want to get it done. But then i have to do all of my photos to make my website look the same...sigh...and what about when i get new products? By the way your avatar is hot Well I had my little meeting and the lady that invited me to come and bought from my booth at the Oktoberfest and loved my candles is not the one that makes the purchasing decision. :undecided It was this older man that obviously had better things to do. So i showed him what i had and told him my prices and what the best deal was and he keep my little contract and said to call him in a week to see what he decided. So we will see. I think the lady will have the candle on in the store so hopefully he will like it. I am going to write a nice little follow up email (or maybe a letter) reiterating the best deals and thanking him for his time.

I don't think it has to be half. I am going to tell them the truth that in order for me to make any money on doing the 3 oz wholesale i will need to charge $4 each. They can charge what ever they want and i bet they can charge more then the $5 i charge. The best best i think is the 8 oz but i am offering the 15 oz too if they want. They don't sell very much but then again she bought one. Again, i think they can get more than what i get for them retail and will tell them so.

Hi Sharon!! I know, in her email she asked if i would consider them for wholesale. I was like ummmmm...yeah! Thanks so much for the vote of confidence. I have been reading on here what everyone has said and the advice you offer too about not selling myself short and i am ready to say no if i have to. The prices are set , i have to make money too, but i can be flexible on other things. I am also going to tell them where i get warmers from too and suggest they buy wholesale from them cuz i would just be the middle man.

was that using the marble method in the tutuorial? I always wondered if you have the wax the consistensy of oatmeal how you make it settle and not have holes in it? I have not actually tried it yet though. they look great.

I have always wondered that myself, why there are so many tarts made of soy? Since you are not burning them the whole soy is better than paraffin argument is mute. I use paraffin votive wax. I tried the votive soy and it was soooo brittle, can't use container really, but i never tried soy pillar wax. Why mix container and paraffin when you can just use votive wax.
