    I did finally check with my insurance and they said it is ok, it does not affect my car insurance. I feel much better.

    The way i see it is like when a business puts up the sign "under new management" We don't know what actually happened even that person you spoke to had it wrong. I have actually spoken to ROse but i did not ask her becuase it is non of my business. I did well at the last one and i had fun. I am for promoting my business and getting my name out there. I just stay out of the political stuff, cuz we will never know what truly happened.

    Is for profit not common with conferences? I have no problem with it being for profit, she is doing the organizing. I always thought of it as the same as any other promoter.

    I know about all the drama with the AZ gathering but i don't care who puts it on. I am there to have fun and sell no matter who is putting it on. It is still going to happen (albeit different person putting it on) but i am still going to attend.

    AH-HA! Their secret is out. i thought that would be too time consuming. i was having visions of using a pipette or something and going crazy making little droplets....*faint* thanks vicki.

    I ordered a premeasured kit and all from summerbeemeadow and i used blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry as the fo, and sweet almond oil as the superfat oil. It was fun and not as scary as i thought it would be. I took to long to mix the colors in it became hard! or at least harder so i just dumped everything in and hoped for the best. No swirls....kind of marbled though... i can't wait for my next order of lye comes. i could not find any in the stores. oh well.

    That is what i thought. it had to be machine made but here are two that i found that i think are small time. Smaller than bean pod anyway. I just think it is a cool thing to be able to do.     Where do people get or i guess i should say how do they make those little drops of wax that look like pellets or peas. Bean pod has them and they are called soy beads.

    The one thing (of the many) that i don't like about them is their wax. it is so UGLY. It looks like...i don't know what it looks like. all bubbly and not smooth and it is so hard. I know some people use votive wax for their container but i am used to that smooth top container wax usually makes. I just think what ever wax they are using it horendous looking. oh! it looks like burn or melted plastic...:lipsrseal

    I make wickless candles and it seems like no one had ever heard of it around here. So it is a new thing around here. I guess it is all in how your market is and how you market it. I just started though but i think it has a lot of potential. I love wickless and hate wicks!!

    i did the whole free sample thing and never again will i. It did get posted on all of the freebie sites and i got those emails too asking me where the wick was and yelled at (over email) that they would not buy something from me where you would have to buy something else (the warmer) first to even use it. Hello?! my whole site is wickless.... i honored every single request before i pulled it but never made any where near enough to cover the cost of doing it. like i said never again. And yes there are moochers out there.
