  1. I made this one a few months ago. Decided to finally post it! Not over-dipped or leveled yet, still working on the blend. ~TFL
  2. I don't think they have the frosted, but there clear ones are toward the middle of the page. ~HTH http://www.riekesglass.com/omaha/product/search.asp ETA: very nice btw!
  3. I think I'm interested. How does this work? Can it be pillars & jars, canes, anything, or just pillars? Then submit photo here and that's it? Please excuse my ignorance, I've never participated in anything on here yet .
  4. It's strange to me because my soy and palm waxes are fine. I've never gotten mold on crisco or any other vegetable shortening either.
  5. You're kidding! I think I would have a heart attack, I don't take to bugs easily.
  6. Beats me! Like you said, I kept mine in the plastic bag it came in and the box. There was just a speck or two on both waxes, and they didn't run deep because I was able to just cut those little pieces off. I was just stunned to see that had happened. Wondered if it was just me, it usually is!
  7. I dug up some slabs of wax I had from six months ago. 6006 & GL70/30, and they both have spots of mold on them! They were stored in a cool, dry, dark closet. I don't understand, is this normal?
  8. Do any of you make these? Just solid plain colored pillars. Everywhere I look now it's either a mottle or a rustic. Just wondering if regular pillars still sell well? ~TY
  9. Yes thank you , I did see that one. But I'm looking for something more in a tumbler style, just wider and shorter.
  10. I'm looking for short, rather large round glass containers. I checked several suppliers and did a search, came up empty. Anyone know? ~TY
  11. Sweet thanks! They probably cost a fortune, but I can dream right!
  12. Does anyone know where I can find boxes such as the ones archipelago, voluspa, votivo, etc. use?
  13. I just found this company, because stupid me didn't research a closer wax supplier until a year later :rolleyes2 I haven't spoken with them yet, and I'll be picking it up anyway, but I needed some wax and couldn't get out there till next week. I wanted to order two cases, so I put them in the cart, and in checkout I see that shipping is $83! So I deleted everything and put in just one case and checked the shipping, that one was $20. So technically if I order 2 cases it should be about $40 right? So where the hell does $83 come from? It boggles me anyway, because for a case of wax from Wisco I pay $15, so how is an hour away $83 or even $20 for that matter? Fire's right, even shipping a case from PA to me is cheaper! It's just wrong.
  14. I know how you feel. I finally found a wax supplier that's an hour away from me. They're charging an extra $40 on top of their $40 shipping charge. Insane, luckily I can just pick it up . Hope you find a better supplier soon!
  15. Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!
  16. oops! It's scented Indonesian Teak
  17. That is super cute! Love the plate too, gives it a nice touch :highfive:
  18. Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised that it came out with 3 colors because I only used 2.
  19. Howdy Here's my 5 or 6th attempt at rustics. I like the really frosty ones some of you guys do, but I'm looking to make them a bit more on the marbelish side. I'm pretty happy with this one, but still needs work. Excuse the photography, the shadows make the pillar look curvaceous. Second pic is first burn almost 4hrs. ~TFL
  20. I loved the way it turned out after you gunned it, great job!
  21. Henryk, He's saying that they are different. BCN didn't say it was a candle additive on their board and when Top pointed that out, BCN got rid of his post.
