Just got my samples in today...finally! Ok oob I am really unhappy with the scents. Buttercream is not bad, maybe it's just me but I think it kind of smells like Peak's cinnamon buns. Southern seductions smells super strong and I think it will give me a headache! I only got to pour the palm tree and I still wasn't liking it. Hmm I hope it's just the FO's I picked. I hope there's other FO's from there that I will be really pleased with :undecided .

lol I'd say the after the "smoke clears." The aroma that's left lingering! :embarasse

Thanks, I know she does, but her posts don't explain much (she does beautiful work). I did however manage to dig some stuff up from the old board. I kept dipping the balloon, when in fact you should dip once and hold till a shell forms. So that seemed to help out a little, but I still get some crappy set ups, so I think I will try better quality balloons next.~TY

Thank you for responding! I was trying to make a hurricane shell out of BW, but I had to melt it out of the mold it wouldn't budge. But you have given me hope again, I'll try the mold release. I didn't know the PT of BW I coulndn't find it anywhere, so thank you for that too!

does anyone make these? I'm having a hard time getting the wax to set up smooth on the balloon. I keep getting patches and ridges.

Hi Kaytee I use GB444 and on the box it says "Best if used by one year of manufacture date." I never used Enchanted Lites so I don't know how that might differ.~HTH

Oh awesome candles! Now that's a specific palm wax that does that, not an additive put into reg palm, correct?

Just an update... I recieved response from them this morning, and will be getting a credit. So, all is well!

Does anyone know what the FO load is for beeswax (peaks)? And when using it as an additive, how do you determine what the total FO load will be? Example: If 444 holds 8-9% (@ 16 oz.) and BW holds X (adding 3-5%). What does that make the total FO load the wax can then hold? It's early in the morning and I barely slept!

I ordered the metros from them about a week ago. When I opened the package, 1 glass was shattered to pieces, and the other one was cracked in half. I emailed them on the 15th about the incident with pics included. I have not heard one word back from them. I emailed them yet again just now, but a little bolder. We'll see if they answer. Otherwise I'm not doing business with them again. It's such a shame too because I like the quality of their glass, but I do NOT think this is good customer service. I understand ppl are busy, but you can at least make the effort to keep your customers happy. Did anyone else have any issues with them? I ordered from their in the first place because I kept hearing such good things about them... now I'm not so sure.

Ok maybe this is a stupid question, but it's just not clear to me... Are all "blend" waxes mixed with parafin? It says 50% soy and 50% other waxes and addititves. Meaning...?
