  1. I can't imagine doing business that way. I bend over backwards for my customers and to think some operate like this and how they can stay in business is beyond me.
  2. Ok, so I will get the Day at the Spa anyway, lol just because everyone has good reviews of it. I am glad I stalled around getting my order in because I had another big order come in today with scents that I wasn't planning on ordering so I saved on some shipping charges I poured a tester of the Strudel and Spice yesterday....DEVINE!
  3. Does anyone know how the Watermelon compares to Millcreeks Juicy Watermelon? Or if the Day at the Spa is similar to Millcreeks Seaside? I need these 2 oils from MC but am placing an order with CS, so don't know which samples to order that may smell similar.
  4. What size wicks do you need? I have some 7-9" wicks. Also, I keep my wicks stable by using a piece (or 2-4) of masking tape with a hole poked through with a skewer. Then I pinch the wick where the wick meets the tape with a clothes pin. Been doing this for years. Some jars just don't have a wick clip like you need. I use the tape pieces over and over again until they won't stick anymore.
  5. I have used the Country Clothesline. It's ok, but Berts is (was) better.
  6. Thank you Going2Adopt! I was reading all the posts and thought to myself....I thought Yankee's Clean Cotton smelled like Downy and if CS's smells like Yankee's.....well then, BINGO! I will order that one then. Luckily I was dragging my feet about placing an order. Not only did I find a replacement (for now), but I get to take advantage of the 99 cent sale!
  7. I am one of those that did not post what suppliers I have used......to numerous to mention all of them. I have been using this card for over 8 years, so lots of suppliers in that time. But yep, CS is one. It is all so complicated because we don't know WHEN to start searching. You know narrow it down a bit, like between two weeks or even a month. But it sure looks like it has SOMETHING to do with our spending habits on this board. Has anyone ever gotten ahold of that Fraud Dept mentioned earlier? I still can't get through, 2 weeks later! I wanted to talk to them in person about all this not just report the fraudulent activity on MY cc.
  8. That honeycomb pattern is nothing new with KY's Tart wax. I have a sample bag here from well over a year ago and that is what it did.
  9. I have used NG's but was placing an order with CS so wanted to order everthing from one place. Looks like I may have to find a new supplier (for now) for this one. I always stayed away from Peaks thinking shipping would be to high for Ohio. I'll just have to check it out!
  10. Placing an order from CS and always ordered Berts Downy, but well, you know....so does CS have one?
  11. Remember, liquid dyes are MESSY! At first it is ok, but then after a while the dye gets dried and sticky then leaks out of the little spout or the dropper starts to get eaten up by the chemicals in the dye. It gets on your fingers and hands and doesn't just wash off. Just a thought...
  12. How about Monkey Farts or Reindeer Poo....
  13. Thanks Stella, I have been trying to not click on ANY links on here due to all the cc fraud incidents and viruses etc. that I have been getting. But ya, I guess they are abbreviated cause evry link I c&p I have been getting that error notice! lol
  14. Make sure you retest your candle after you change the dye amount. Certain colors are more difficult to burn and may change your wicking. I have to wick up with CS Mahogany Brown dye chips.
  15. I always thought beeswax was the slowest and cleanest burning (thus why they are burned in churches). Plus with it's high melt point a beeswax candle will be less likely to melt if stored in a hot location (picture a candle laying on its side in a trunk of a car). Just a thought.
  16. Anyone else having trouble with those links? I copied & pasted and an error notice came up.
  17. I too had the webtrend cookie....but not until AFTER the cc incident. AVG took care of it...or so it says. Both times I was in the SCEIC website (don't go to it!) I got a virus. Then the cc incident
  18. Candleman2011, welcome! I started thinking MAYBE this virus/malware whatever- was cause by us on Craftserver clicking on a link....but if you just joined, then it can't be that. What other craft sites have you purchased from? Do you just use that cc for your business purchases?
  19. Last week I cleared out all my viruses and cookies and it sent them to the vault. How do I check to see if this was in those that went to the vault?
  20. So you soapers refrigerate your butters and oils? I have never done that. Should I? I have never had any go bad.....
  21. I have been trying. Keep getting a busy signal.....go figure.
  22. Vicky, Just heard on a previous post that Candle Science uses Authorize.net for their cc transactions. Would you happen to use the same one? Just trying to see if it is possibly the company that processes the transactions
  23. I checked online about where we need to report this. We need to call 1-800-876-7060 it is the Nation Fraud Information Center in Washington, DC. Should we just have one person call to explain the whole thing or what? Check out www.fraud.org
