  1. Hi primfolke, I use the ecosoya pillar for my tarts. Although I love the way it pops right out of the mold, I don't like the concaving I have been experiencing. I tried mixing it 50/50 with pure soy wax, but that doesn't seem to help. I usually use the heat gun on them, but that doesn't always help either. I am looking for another wax too after I use up what I have left. HTH ~Dana
  2. I am pretty new here, but I had to comment on this one. I am having the same problem with my candles looking like that. I use ecosoya pure. I melted some down and repoured and some turned out fine and others looked the same. I thought maybe since it never happened before, that it was because of the large size I was pouring this time (26oz.) and it was taking to long to cool (or cooling to fast). There are many sinkholes and craters too! What size jar are you pouring? ~Dana
  3. How does the throw of the parasoy compare to pure soy? I have tried so many waxes, they all seem to have their own issues. I just haven't tried a parasoy yet. ~Dana
  4. Hi, I'm new to this board and I love it! I have definately found that my candles burn differently in humid conditions. When I test burn in the summer, I always make sure the air conditioning is on. Otherwise, I get a weak flame. I have found when I burn up at our lake house, that too effects the burn. That would figure, when it's the slow season and we have time to test, that's when it's most difficult to get a true test! Just one more variable we candlemakers have to put up with! ~Dana
