  1. I'm glad I read this post BEFORE I ordered bags! LOL I was going to go with the cheapie "thank you" bags too but they seem like one step above using your old Wal-mart bags....then I thought about those cute gingham bags from Nashville Wraps, but I never even considered the frosted ones before now! :embarasse
  2. If you are going with the country/prim theme, I can recommend a few free sites. Just PM me.
  3. While I was searching ICS's site (whose oils I always wanted to try but haven't yet) I noticed that they have a Coconut Milk & Peaches fragrance! I would be very interested in adding this, and maybe even CP'ing this fragrance too. Is theirs the absolute best or can someone recommend another company's that stays strong in candles & bath 'n body? Thanks in advance! :smiley2: edited to add: I just noticed through more searching that A.S.S. has CM&P. Anyone tried both ICS and A.S.S.'s and prefer one over the other?
  4. I was going through the scents I carry and I barely carry any fruity scents at all! I would like to test a few "different" ones....not the same old strawberry or the same old cucumber melon. Can anyone recommend any good fruity fragrances? I prefer to stay local if I can, with NG or WSP. (But am willing to try someone new if they have a few different oils I can try....I've got to make it worth my while to ship!) I will say that I just tested Aroma Haven's Lemon Chiffon and it is yummy....although it is more bakery than fruity IMO. Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
  5. I disagree about Banana Nut Bread being a waste of money....unless someone meant they should have went straight for the pound! Iced Cinnamon Rolls is awesome! Cranberry Cobbler is a good strong one too. I like their Orange Chiffon Cake and Blueberry Muffin fragrance too. Oh heck, who am I kidding, there aren't too many I DON'T like from them! LOL p.s. definitely try out Pumpkin Crunch Cake too......very yummy and very strong!
  6. I made mine a purple color. When I think hyacinth I think of those gorgeous purple-ish blue ones.....HTH
  7. It is a silicone electric muffin mold. Got it for ten bucks, but man oh man does it smell rank!
  8. Shoulda known better, but I bought a used mold off of ebay. Great price for the mold, the problem is--the whole thing smells like a combination of yucky basement/cigarette smoke!! Ack!!! (couldn't find the gagging smiley) Anyhow, will the stink go out in time or am I stuck with a smelly worthless mold? I am hoping too that the stink won't go into the candles. Any tips on how to get rid of that funky smell? Thanks in advance!
  9. Vanilla Pear is very weak, IMO. Spiced Cranberry, holy heck is that strong! (works great in smelly jellies) Hot cocoa smells just like the real thing. very yummy Hillbilly Homebrew is another great one in smelly jellies. s-t-r-o-n-g!! Their Cinnamon Buns is more "cinnamon" than sweet drippy cinnamon buns. If you really want the sweet version of cinnamon buns, try their ICED CINNAMON BUNS!!! OMG, it is like walking past Cinnabon at the mall! Sweet Potato Pie was strong. There was something about it I didn't like but it always did well with the customers. I would also recommend Pumpkin Crunch Cake if you are looking for a good sweet n spicy pumpkin fragrance. HTH you a little!
  10. I was just going to say to be ready to spend thousands on testing and insurance and marketing.....then be ready to spend more on supplies! LOL I'm glad I didn't go in this just for the $$$!!!
  11. Just wanted to mention that I finally got around to making my coffee soap today! I'm a little disappointed that the coffee scent really isn't coming out. I put a bit of vanilla FO in (was going to order cocoa absolute but couldn't wait to soap with that coffee butter) and it seems to be overpowering the soap. All I can do is wait and see!
  12. Yep, Pumpkin Crunch Cake gets my vote too!
  13. Butterfly Hugs I have only tried in body sprays and it was okay. Beach Baby I have used in smelly jellies and that one is pretty strong! HTH a little!
  14. I believe Aroma Haven has a body-safe Pumpkin scent, and Backwoods has a Pumpkin Cornbread scent that smells abso-freaking-lutely delish!
  15. I am going to try this myself! I am using coffee for the liquid portion (cooled, of course) and I am going to use my coffee butter as my superfatting oil. I'm not going to scent this one or I would like to find some natural scent to throw in with it....what do you think?
  16. I soap with this fragrance and it is a great seller for me! It doesn't smell spicy at all coming out of the bottle....but after a day or two in the soap the spice scent comes out! I think this one is middle of the road as far as spicy pumpkins go.....there are some out there that practically burn your nosehairs they are so spicy!
  17. I'm just beginning to get down low enough where I am nervous....so I am starting to test waxes to replace my OK6228. I really like the 4625 so far but I just used a zinc wick to test my first votive. I've read that flat braid wicks work better in that wax so I would like to try some of those as well. Can anyone offer me a good starting point? Thanks in advance!
  18. http://www.scstamp.com/ Sorry for the confusion, kids driving me nuts today! (I came home early why? LOL)
  19. http://stores.ebay.com/Super-Cheap-Art-Stamps She is great to work with and didn't mind a few last-minute changes to my stamp. I will try to get a pic posted in the next few days....my camera batteries are fried!
  20. Check out Super Cheap Art Stamps!!! She does super work and is reasonably priced. Everything was done over the computer and I had my stamp in a few days. The detail is magnificent and I couldn't be happier! I had this stamp made for my soap boxes so I would only have to label the back with the ingredients. (Trying to save a little $$$) I have no personal gain in this, I just did a search, found them online and am one very satisfied customer!
  21. I just got my domain and first 3 months paid for DIY. I can't wait to get up and running with them, they sound great! Can anyone who has them offer any advice/tips? It sounds pretty easy.....sure hope so!
  22. I would recommend Pumpkin Crunch Cake also! This one is not overly spicy like most pumpkin pie scents. I think you will like it! p.s. If you are looking for a good body-safe one....the Pumpkin Pie from BCN is awesome!
