    When I run out of gel wicks, I use regulars, too. I just make sure I scrape off any wax on the prewaxed ones so they don't gunk up my gel.

    I use the same process as CathyinMe. Never have any problem with glass. A good friend gave me a set of glass pots and I've started using them for my gel melting cause cleanup is so much easier. I have a presto for larger batches, but the glass pots are so nice to use. Sometimes you can find a stray or two at the Salvation Army store.

    Has anyone tried the after shave products in their men's line? It's VERY expensive, but I need something right away and might have to pay the price!

    I got some from SOS, but not being familiar with the real thing, I found a friend who did buy it for her husband. She brought both his after shave and spray cologne to a meeting last night. I had mixed a spray bottle with the dupe and just cyclo. Also a jar of goat milk body glaze. The scent is dead on. Very pleased with it. The 4.2 oz eau de toilette sells for $58 at Dillards!

    I agree with everybody else. Also, there is NO where around here that you can get a 16 oz candle for $8 except the Dollar Store. The grocery store even charges way more than that! Some people are going to whine no matter what.

    They put that on there for the same reason there is a warning on the frozen pizza box to remove the pizza from the box and cook it. And don't eat the box. We live in a society that is sue-happy and also full of really stupid people.

    It measure 11 by 11. It's quite heavy as well. I does go with the decor in that room. The sofa is done in tropical fish. I hava glass lamps filled with blue shells and blue shades. I also stenciled the entire perimeter just below the ceiling with an undersea scene--dolphins, fish, etc. Unfortunately, in a moment of complete madness I bought the coffee table! It is a life-sized and very realistic looking gator. Should have waited til I found a dolphin.

    I've got a ton of badly wicked soy container candles. I keep a warmer beside my bed and warm those screw ups for hours at a time. I feel I need to at least enjoy the scent! I have never read the warning and have never had a problem, either. When the scent is gone I just pour out the remaining wax so I can wash and reuse my container. Mine's a cheapie--got it at Michael's for $2.34. They had a sale going on last year and I bought a doz to give as gifts! I also use mine for my coffee cup in the a.m. if I'm poking around drinking it. Lots of secretaries use theirs to keep a cup of soup warm.

    Thanks. One of these days I'll figure out how to post a pic without a link. Today has been ONE of THOSE days, though. Nothing going right. The yard crew came this a.m. They always give me the LOOK like I'm the gringo woman from hell. Bad pics, bad burn tests, etc. Going to get a beer with the girls!

    This is a pic of something I'm trying to get together for our ladies aux fundraiser. I'm taking these 2 in tonight for consideration. Haven't test burned them. I have test burned 2 that I really screwed up! I did one in the tureen with 6006 scented in Dreamcatcher. I got 3 different waxes from CS and am testing them all with their wick recommendations. For some reason I used LX16 for the tureen. Don't have a clue why--must have been drunk. Real smoky. Apoth style was worse--used an ECO8. Got the black jar!     I will try to get a pic and post. Getting slack here! BTW--I only live 60 mi. from Charleston Candle. I have looked at their site and their prices seem horrendous. I have also emailed them several times with questions and also to inquire if they allow local pickup. They have never returned a single email. So, I just said to hell with them!!

    I recently got some of the dazzle dust from RE but haven't used it. I also got a similar substance from the Chemistry Store a few days ago. Not sure what I'm gonna try with it or if it would work for you.

    OK, tired of being ignorant here. I have read several posts oohing and aahing about OMH. Is this oatmeal, milk, and honey? BTW--what a nice friend to give you such a stock!

    I've never heard of OMH? Where did you get it? I looked at a couple of suppliers and didn't find it.
