    Hi, since they are out of stock and don't plan on restocking until mid-late February, does anyone know of a comparable replacement for their Hawaiian Hibiscus? Thanks!

    Thank you for the suggestions. Yes, they have discontinued them. I spoke to them last month and they confirmed that they were not restocking the frosted jars. They said they were switching to a U.S. manufacturer.

    Since Jar Store has discontinued their frosted glass line, where do you all get the frosted jars besides T.V. Guilfoil?

    I just love how this person came on here sharing their experience without mentioning the suppliers name. She was pushed to tell who the supplier was and then after that it seems she is being jumped on. I really hate threads like this when a person comes on to share their experience and then becomes the bad person. This thread should be about what happened with the wax, not how much experience a person may or may not have. Good grief :tiptoe:

    Heat it slightly on the bottom with the heat gun. Works wonders.

    I really do hate this blend of wax (416). I love the 474 though and have been trying to convince CS to switch or at least carry the 474. I understand additives can be added to this wax to make it like the 474 however that would increase the cost of the wax. That just doesn't make sense to me when I can purchase the 474 at the same price of the 416.

    I was just about to order four 1 oz samples and the shipping was $9.00. Needless to say I won't be trying this company with those type of shipping rates.

    I have the sultry angel in my line as well and put the IT in wax yesterday. It amazed me how much it smelled like the SA so I don't see the need to carry the IT.

    Thank you for the info. Unfortunately on top of all else I'm doing I don't feel like having to mix additive as well.

    Is it just my nose or does FOH's Indonesian Teak and CC's Sultry Angel smell almost identical?

    I would love for them to carry the Golden Brand 474 votive wax. The 416 they carry is a tart wax, not a votive and it doesn't work as a votive wax either. Anyone else share this dream? :highfive:

    I love this one. It smells very green and is an awesome thrower in soy. I don't know about the paraffin.

    Yes, I've tried the FH and the cold and hot throw are great in soy. It smells like the real thing to me.

    I get an awesome throw and I use 6%.

    For me the CD-16's work best on the 6 oz tins. IMO the CD-18's made the tin too hot, made the melt pool too deep and made the candle burn way too fast. I can even get away with a CD-14 on lighter oils.

    I got samples from them before, and yes I did have to speak to a sales rep.

    Some put steric in the votive blend, maybe that is what you saw? I use 3%.

    I do not heat my jars. I used too but I found it unnecessary. I pour hotter than recommended. I pour at 145-150 and the candle sets up perfectly except for the tops. I'd rather lose a little time at the end to save time at the beginning. They burn beautifully, too and the scent throw is awesome.
