  1. OK, what is the deal with JS? Why are so many people hinting around that something bad happened to them, in regard to JS? I have loved alot of their oils, like: Lemon Sugar, Banana Nut Bread, BrownSugarPecan, Bazooka, EffervescentFizzyPop, BerrieButtercream, DecadentPoundCake, White Cake, MyMamasBlueberryCobbler, Pink Petals, VanillaButterCreamCrunch, to name a few. Is there something we should all know?

  3. [quote=carolgrant]OK, WHAT is cyclo? Cyclomethicone is a versatile, clear liquid. It has no odor and can be used to blend with FO's and EO's with no clouding or separation. The versatility includes lotions, creams, deodorants, antiperspirants, hair conditioners, make up, nail polish, hair sprays, body mists, bath salts and more! This product will produce a luxurious body spray that feels dry. It has a silky smooth feel and is dry rather than greasy. For making clear sprays, pour Cyclomethicone in bottle and add fragrance oil. Use in ratios of fragrance oil to Cyclomethicone from 1:3, to 1:6, or greater. (Use in HDPE, PET, or glass bottles. PVC is not recommended because FO will degrade and break down the PVC over time.) This product is AMAZING and we're betting you and your customers fall in love with it. It transforms ordinary products into luxurious indulgences! INCI: Cyclomethicone Uses: Dry Oil Body Spray: Mix with EO or FO in ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 or greater. *Be sure to use a body safe FO. Also, depending upon strength of FO/EO, concentrations may be much higher than 1:6 as your perfume may be *way* too strong. (concentrations = FO:Cyclomethicone). If desired, first experiment with drops of FO/EO to test strength. Dry Oil Perfume base: Mix as above and package in aroll on bottle! After Bath Oil/Shower Body Oil: Mix with your favorite oil blend in concentrations up to 50/50 and add FO or EO to desired strength. Spray on skin after getting out of bath or shower, and then towel dry. Leaves skin silky & velvety without being greasy. Room Sprays, Linen Sprays: No more wet linens! Please test on any linens to make sure the FO/EO doesn't stain. Lotions: Add to lotions, body butters, lotion bars, and creams to impart a decadent silky, soft velvety feeling! Add up to 1% to pre-made lotion base or 5%-20% to lotion made from scratch. Bath Salts, Bath Oils, and Scrubs: Add to bath oils or use instead of glycerin to add sheen to your bath salts and a silky feel to the bath water. Hair Care: Spray on wet hair for detangling or spray on dry hair to manage "frizz". Spraying on dry hair adds extra shine too! Add to hair conditioners to give it detangling properties and a silky feel.

Does anyone have the measurements down for just making 1 or 2 tarts?
  5. I packagea in jars rather than bottles for butters.
  6. Does anyone have a good source, for good pricing on those 1/4 ounce, white, double wall lip balm pots? They'd be great for lotion samples. Thanks.
  7. Smelled THE BEST candle at Pier 1. Scent was called ButterCream Vanilla. Hands down, THE best EVER! Has anyone seen a FO dupe of it anywhere?
  8. thanks for the site address. Just went on it & boy, do they ever have alot. Thanks so much!
  9. Has anyone used Daystar's: Tres Magnifique Oil? Sounds very interesting.
  10. Robin, thanks for posting. What a wealth of information & important information. Beyond informative! Great stuff, thanks!
  11. Thank you very much.I'm thinking that the key to my problems is getting a more precise scale that measures to the .001 gram. Up until this point, For larger sizes of other products, my current scale has been fine. But if I'm even considering making the 1/3 oz. roller sizes, &/or other smaller sized products in the future, I'm going to need it. Thank you for your help. By the way, what scale do you have? Since I'm in the market for a new one, I'd like to hear any suggestions. THank you.
  12. Does anyone make Roll On Fragrance using Cyclomethicone in the 1/3 oz glass roller bottles? How much Cyclo do you put in? & how much FO? &: Do you use a dropper to add FO drops? And if you are adding fractionated coconut oil, howmuch of that do you put? (I know, too many questions!!) I'm getting myself all confused because 1/3 oz is such a small amount to make. How do you break down 1/3 oz into, let's say, a 6:1 ratio, etc? Would I just fill up the 1/3 oz glass bottle 3/4 of the way with cyclo, then 1/4 of the way with FCO & then add ? how many drops of FO? It would be much easier if I was making a larger amount, in one scent & then just pouring it into the smaller bottles. But I need to make many different scents in these sizes.(I just had the same thing with lotion....needing to make many, many varied scents of tiny sizes) I haven't even made cyclo rollers or sprays in 1 ouncers yet, unless it was making large amounts of one scent & pouring them into the smaller, 1 ounce, spray bottles. I'd actually like to know: how many drops of FO you are using in a one ounce sprayer as well............assuming that you are only making one single one ouncer, in one scent, & not bulk. ( Iknow, I know, still too many questions!!) any 1/3 ounce roller bottle &/or any 1 oz. sprayer guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  13. taylored concepts has one called NuCar & it smells like New Car. scent it also lists it, but I haven't tried it.
  14. Frosted Pink Cupcake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blackberry Vanilla Musk, Bacci de Miele(honey scent), & Turkish Delight , if you need another "sweets" oil. Smells just like the description.
  15. I am forever looking for that perfect Coconut Scent. One that you can actually smell in B&B products. Something that smells like that can of CoCo- Lopez we use to make Pina Coladas. Sweet & Creamy. So far I actually like Daystars Coconut Macaroon the best. I don't detect any pie/cake/almond notes at all, in lotions. I tried their other coconut types & this was the most potent in lotion. I have a bunch of samples from other places & they just don't do it (a couple of coconut variations from JS(coconut bubble), NG(coconut cream pie), WSSP(creamy), Millcreek(coconut grove), Taylored) I'd love to hear anyones reviews of any & all Coconut's you've used in Bath&Body products. Thanks!

You shouldn't put just FO in a burner. Some people add some water, but then you have to keep an eye on it & keep adding water. But, I have a little trick I use: I take an unscented tea light. I pop/scoop out the little mini wick. Then, I put the unscented tea light on top of the tart burner, wait for it to melt(melts quickly) & THEN I add just a few drops of Fragrance Oil. Since the wax is in there, I don't have to worry about it evaporating, like the water does.
  17. 1st of all, if it was out of stock, why did they charge you for it with this current order? Why did they make you pay for something you didn't get?
  18. Ooh....could you tell us how you made them? Thanks!
  19. Check out the description of this oil from: www.candlesandsupplies.com Tutti-Frutti Description: Smells just like the popular fruit stripe gum with the zebra. Hope this helps!!!!
