I am having a little trouble getting it to be strong enough. I had to make a whole bunch of 2 ounce sized bottles(all different scents, of course!) & when I used the guidelines from WSP, it just wasn't strong enough. I'd love any guidance at all, thanks!! How much FO would you use if you were making a 2 ouncer of it? Thanks so much.

  5. I use this & like it. But I will mention what I think my major pros & cons are. Cons first: It goes on a little greasy at first.....but then, in just seconds, it DOES melt in. Some people may not like that it does start out greasy. The first time I used it I looked at my hands & saw a sheen....but then within 30 seconds, it DID melt right in. But, it IS a "butter" & not a lotion. Second negative: I HAVE had trouble with certain scents covering up the scent of the unscented base. It is not an offensive smell....but there is something there. Most FO's worked fine. Just some vanillas & bakery types I had trouble covering the base with. But, Florals, fruits, perfume dupes, etc...all worked fine. What I LOVE about it is: it is a true butter: thick & rich. No mistaking this for a lotion. I don't heat it to scent it because I don't like to change its original texture. I also bought this from other people, before using it myself. I really like that this can't be confused for a body lotion. It is a butter for sure. HTH
  6. Hmm. maybe I'll hold off on it then. thanks
  7. Has anyone used JustScents "April Fresh Downy". Want to place an order & was wondering about this one. thanks

  9. Anything else good to try from there? I've been tempted to try them.
  10. If anyone has tried any of these, can you give me your reviews: thanks Bear Claws: would it be good in B&B? Chocolate truffles: is it sweet? bitter? Her new Lychee fruit: is it enough Lychee,or too much "other" fruits? Downy April Fresh: is it a close enough dupe? Thanks!

  14. Bahama Coconut from Aroma Haven is my new favorite. Heavy on the coconut & not too milky & vanillery. Coconut Macaroon from Daystar. I don't smell any cake notes at all in it OOB & in bath&Body products...not sure about in wax though.
  15. I too am on a never ending search for this one & nothing has come close so far. anyone else?
  16. HazelMac? but I think if you stick to the real names, people will be interested because it sounds like a great, original mix. What's wrong with just: Hazelnut MacIntosh or MacIntosh Hazelnut?
  17. Has anyone ordered any FO's from Brighter Scents? THey seem to have some good prices, but wondering if I should stay away from prices that seem too good. I see they have Pick any 4 :8-ounce FO's for $30. THey also have pick any 4 : 4ounce FO's for $20.80. 5 1-ouncers for $7.20!!! Also, has anyone tried their Linen Spray Base? ALso, is $8 for 50 reed difuser sticks a good deal? Never done these. Can you use regular FO, or do you need special oils? Thanks so much!!
  18. I have a question. I've never used clip art, but is it true that if we do decide to use some clip art on our labels, etc...that we can only use "royalty free" clip art?
  19. Is it heavy on the cherry? thanks
  20. Would you describe what, in your opinion, the Sweet Tooth smells like? Thanks so much. I was looking at it for B&B products, butwasn't sure. thanks
  21. Why is it impossible to pass up something for a dollar? I hear $1 sale & BAM: gotta do it. Don't need it, not even the season to start stockpiling or shipping scent, etc....but that "$1" & I'm helpless. Got to at least try a bunch of stuff for $1 each. It is as if that $1 can do no harm.........unless you take one of EVERYTHING!!! Ok. Going to check out the $1 sale!
  22. Wholesalesuppliesplus has em all(WSP)
  23. Just Scent has a White Cake & a Decadent Pound Cake that both smell that way. Daystar has a Cake Batter.
  24. I'm just wondering if all of those other notes will take away from a true Lychee scent? But it surely sounds tempting!!!
  25. Blueberry Muffin Cantaloupe Lily Chocolate Layer Cake Monkey Farts Raspberry Lilac Southern Sunshine!!! to name just a few (their Birthday Cake has gotten alot of great reviews)
