  1. I'd keep the plumeria cause I have customers that want it year round. The watermelon is not selling right now.. you could ditch that til next summer or spring
  2. JS is okay.. but not a big whoop for me. I do use their pumpkin pie spice. Some of their FOs work and others don't. That just isn't good enough for me.
  3. That's what I was thinking. It would look better if each line faded out as another faded in and so on down to last line. But I think it is positively adorable! Two booboos up!!!
  4. OMG!! Gotta get me some hippo breath and burnt flesh for the holidays!!! :laugh2:
  5. JS' pumpkin pie spice-- strong and spicey! my customers love it
  6. I have tried FOs from their sister shop in WV. They sell the same supplies. Can't say I liked any of the FOs.
  7. Thanks for some positive feeback! That show did have a lot of candle booths in the same spot as me as I later found out. Did better in the next show and I have more coming up so I will see how well it goes from here on out.
  8. Nice logo!! About the cork. Cork is used for wines, champagne, etc. and doesn't seem to spoil them or absorb the carbonization... er... fizzy stuff... it will probably be just fine. Maybe you could find a wine maker who knows something about cork.
  9. I really want nice handle bags with my logo colors on them. Can't afford them quite yet so am waiting. For now its the cheap plastic. Yuck!
  10. Thanks for the input. I don't have sides yet so I may just pack up the products and leave the tables and tent stuff for the nite. I have drop cloths so I may use those to "close up" for the nite.
  11. Doesn't J50 already have UV inhibitor in it? I thought it did. But I noticed that some of my jar candles I took to my show have color fading. Only the pink and blue/green candles. The others are okay.
  12. I'm doing my first 2-day show this weekend. I am not sure if I should leave my products at my booth at night with a cover over them. I could pack them up but thats a lot of work to lay the candles and stuff all out again the next day. What do you all do? I was planning to ask about security when I check in Friday but want to know what you all think.
  13. I've been doing seasonal brochures to deal with the scent changes (and price changes). But I think leaving them out is a better idea. But I do like my Fall brochure.
  14. Glad I asked. Sounds like I have been on the right track adding it on.
  15. When I have to charge sales tax at a show I have been adding it on top of the sale price. I just assumed this was how you do it. Now I am wondering if it might be better to just take the tax off the total sales instead. I'm still new to doing craft shows so I'm not sure. Can someone tell me what they do or if I'm doing this right? Thanks.
  16. I love those mugs and the bowl. Very adorable! The colors all look great together. Bet they smell terrific too!
  17. I have my logo too but want to have it professionally designed. I got a quote of around $400 to $600 from a designer. I decided to wait on that:undecided
  18. I've just been using the name of the FO. I have only tried changing one or two to see how I like it.
  19. I'm sure the instructions must come with the shaper. It looks like you just plug it in and wait for it to warm up. You may have a switch too but it doesn't look like it would be terribly complicated. JMO
  20. Me too! I have bags of white and green peanuts, pillow bags, and even paper excelsior.
  21. I don't have one either. But I have got a couple of 911 emails in my business email.
