    You can use a griddle you no longer plan on using (or old one.. that you don't use) or what i do is put a cooking sheet/pizza sheet over the burners, and melt it that way. But be careful of what setting you use it on. I have a electric stove, so this works for me. I wouldn't suggest it if you have a gas stove.

    Yeah, i'm double wicking the 11oz Tureen jar as well with CDN 12, though may drop down to 11, as i get side to side full burn in an hour, though it does take 4hrs to get a FULL melt pool. Maybe I just need to reposition the wicks a bit. Right now, they're side by side with a few inches apart. Maybe I need to reposition one so one is on an angle from the other one.

    Right now I'm testing CDN's which are working great. I'm using a 4inch diameter/11oz tureen jar. I've always had good luck w/ soy wax and never really needed it to "cure" with my scents I choose as far as test burning, just enough to set up, but normally i end up waiting two-three days to test them anyway as most of the time, that's when my schedule allows me it.. I have some 700's on the way if they ever get here.

    Not on the candles themselves.. but I keep a log in excel on what day/scents/types jars were used w/ what wicks etc.

    I have to wick down or reposition the wicks.. (it's a double wick type of jar), I had a side to side full pool in an hour... but the other side isn't full maybe just need to reposition the wicks a bit. but other than that.. the throw is pretty good.. breathings better.. thanks.. I love blackberry sage too.. and it normally doesn't give me problems.

    It's been ages since I've tested new soy wax so decided to try GB 464. When they say it has an aswome cold throw they mean it. I usually scent about an once per lb.. and well i'll have to go down to a half ounce. I got a headache, and started having breathing problems. I could smell it all the way in my bedroom. I forgot about the try scenting it at a 1/2 ounce first rule. :rolleyes2 Now we'll see if my wicks i picked worked.... that will come tomorrow or later tonight once it's actually set up.... I used blackberry sage....

    Thanks! I have those wicks, however I ended up ordering from BC.. since I already know their wax, and i'll get it tomorrow or Monday depending on when it goes out. And I would like the supplies early part of the week, since what i'm making is for the BF, and he's hopefully stoping this weekend. kathy

    Anyone use this wax and can give me a suggestion on what wicks to try as a starting point? I'm trying to save money on shipping, and I need some of their FO's, so i thought i'd try their soy, since i'm out of container soy wax but I've never tried their soy wax. (Yes, did a search, but mostly what comes up is their FO's and can't find anything on wicking...)

    No.. there's no need to for personal attacks, HOWEVER, RedRosie started this herself when she bashed "the other form". And for the record.. if I remember correctly, before Peaks stopped specifically running this board, NO supplier complaints were even allowed, what-so-ever. I've been here since 2002.. even though my sign up date says 2005 or whatever.. it says.. I just don't post here much anymore since the board was rebuilt after the first time it crashed long time ago.

    Any tips/tricks etc on this wax? Wick? I'm assuming the same type of wick will work. I needed new container wax in a hurry.. so I ordered from BCN Normally I order form KyCandlewax but since I need to make an order this weekend, wanted the order here tomorrow(Okay so i'm impatient lol). I have every wick imagineable so that's not issue.. just would like a starting point. I already know the heavier FO will have to be wicked up. Kathy

    I would.. it's always been free for me even when I did the co-op. I had 1-10 packages out there all the time. In fact one time I forgot to put a package out for delivery, and I did.. and he said he'd do it this one time (because I always do it) But Mystic is riight, they have a sheet that they have to scan in that they check that it was picked up. I've NEVER paid for it, and i use it all the time because I hate going to the PO. Kathy One Last thing, there are two types of deliveries.. free next day carrier pick up and Pick up on demand which does cost 12.50...
