  1. I have, and I only see three there - animal, diamond and pear. None of those particularly appealed to me, so I was hoping to find out if anyplace has a wider selection.
  2. I can't narrow it down to just one. Here are the ones I've ordered from multiple times (and if one isn't on here, it may just mean I haven't gotten around to placing a second order yet! ): ~Day-Star ~Greenleaf ~Taylored Concepts ~Bitter Creek South ~Nature's Garden ~Candle Science ~Lone Star ~Cajun
  3. I sell Mrs. Claus Cookies from Nature's Garden year-round.
  4. I'm hoping to try my hand at doing MP soap in a log mold, and hoping to use some column molds for embeds. The problem is, I seem to be having a hard time finding a wide selection of column molds. The places I've checked out tend to have the same three or four or five column molds, and none of those are exactly what I was hoping for. Any suggestions?
  5. I'll buy some and take it off your hands!
  6. Thanks, Traci! After I'd posted, I did just that, and the Elements site says Flickers oils will start arriving March 10! So hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on that Southern Pecan Pie sooner rather than later. Yay!
  7. Bump! Has no one tried the Lone Star or Greenleaf pecan pie scents? Or can anyone recommend another supplier that has an outstanding pecan pie scent? I've got a customer who said she'd buy a dozen if I could get more oil. LOL
  8. Mandarin Tiki from Nature's Garden and Grapefruit Watermelon from Greenleaf. These have sold well for me. I like Cucumber Wasabi Cilantro from NG, too, for a nice fresh green scent.
  9. I've tested a sample of Flickers Southern Pecan Pie and love it, love it, love it. It's got an awesome throw in my travel tin candles (using either C-3 or GL's container wax), and I'm trying to get my hands on more of it. However, Flickers is in transition, and while Elements will be carrying Flickers oils, I don't know when that will be. I'm considering trying another pecan pie oil. GL has a Pecan Pie, and Lone Star has a Butter Pecan Pie. Has anyone used either of these, and can anyone compare them to the Flickers Southern Pecan Pie? I'm most interested in these two suppliers because they're local and I can pick up the oil instead of having to pay for shipping, but if there's another company that has a pecan pie scent that compares to Flickers, I'd be interested in hearing about that, too. Thanks!
  10. Those look fabulous! And I'd like to know how you kept the browning away, too, if you don't mind sharing. I struggle with that and haven't yet found anything that works consistently.
  11. I'm keeping scrubs, lip balm, container candles (most likely tins), MP soap, and one size of tarts. I'm getting rid of two sizes of tarts, bubble bars, body butter, roll-on perfumes, and hair/body mist. I'm keeping the things I like and getting rid of the things that make me bonkers, and I'm cutting my scent list way back. Also, for now I'm selling just on Etsy and selling items as I make them up. I don't have time or energy for custom orders right now.
  12. I loved Chocolate Latte from Greenleaf, and they're no longer carrying it. Can anyone recommend a good fragrance that might be similar?
  13. Also, Day-Star has a Lilac Blossoms, http://www.daystarsupplies.com/ss.htm, that might work for you.
  14. Michele, Nature's Garden has a Fresh Ginger (didn't you get a sample from me? I've slept since then and can't remember! LOL). They've also got a Ginger (Origins Type), but I think it's gag nasty.
  15. That is amazing! My son would love them.
  16. OK, here are my pics - y'all tell me what you think, if you don't mind. Not too long after I poured them: After they'd set up: Just lit: After burning for about an hour: After burning for about two hours: The throw was awesome with the C-3, that's for sure. I thought these burned pretty well. Is there anything I'm missing, or did they maybe actually turn out OK?
  17. Oh my goodness, what beautiful soaps! I love the one where the top looks like bubble wrap. Very creative, and very nice!
  18. Love the Bourbon Vanilla and Strawberries & Champagne. Those are probably my two favorites from there, and they've both done well in soy and a soy/paraffin blend for me.
  19. Those are some awesomely cool soaps!
  20. Nice soaps! How'd you get the swirly look in the Gingered Bergamot?
  21. Looks great! What did you use for a mold?
  22. Debra, I'm sorry Canton was a bust for you. I know that's got to be frustrating. {{{HUGS}}} I ended up giving our local fall festival a miss due to being pregnant and too tired for words, and now I'm thinking it might have been a blessing in disguise. It would have been terribly disheartening to do a ton of prep and not see much in the way of results.
  23. Thanks for the input, y'all! I ended up doing a little batch of 4-oz. tins with the C-3 I have on hand and had forgotten about (good because if it works out well, I can get it here locally). I heated to 170 degrees and let it cool, probably longer than I should have, because I ended up pouring at about 110 degrees (way cooler than what the guidelines recommend, oops!). I'm trying one of the LX wicks (I'll have to look at the package to see which ones), and right now they're setting up. The tops look nice and smooth at this point (and if I have wet spots, I can't see them, because I used tins!). Sharon, so the pouring cool is just to try to keep the sides nicer? Good to know. It was a pain waiting for it to cool - I'm used to tarts, and with my wax from Greenleaf, I pour hot, no waiting! I may try what you suggested, just mixing up what I've got on hand. My luck, they'll turn out great and I'll want to duplicate the results. So I'm letting the tins set up, and after they've sat for a bit, I'll do a test burn. I'll take pics so y'all can tell me if things look OK, or if there are things I might need more work/testing on. If I lucked out and got a winner the first time, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
