  1. AH/RE has a good one, but I recently ordered a bottle of lime margarita from Camden grey and its out of this world!! I was really surprised because I had never tried there FO's before and it was very reasonably priced. Very strong and tart and excellent in B&B although I haven't tried it in soy yet. LS margaritaville is nice too if you want more of a boozy scent in there too. HTH
  2. I ave a few of the bases from NDA and I really like them. I have only used there ultra premium line body butter so I can't really tell you for sure about the regular line one but from the ingredient list on the site it looks like it would be really nice. That said, If you like they feel of the WSP body butter (which I do have) I think the NDA one will have a much different feel. From its ingredients list it looks more like a typical homemade lotion (minus the petroleum) and will probably have a longer lasting skin feel that some might deem greasy. The WSP body butter base has a more typical commercial, easily absorbed feel to it. Obviously this is all my opinion and you might really like the NDA one, but if your used to the WSP one I recommend trying a sample size from NDA before ordering a whole gallon as I anticipate the feel will be very different. I actually prefer a more "greasy" feeling butter but have found that many friends and family prefer a WSP type one, so I have both. HTH :smiley2:
  3. Sorry, I should have been more clear- It smells really bad initially. But after you mix it with your FO I believe the smell goes away after a few hours. The reviews on the WSP site are very helpful if you want more info. HTH
  4. WSP sells a browning neutralizer that you mix with your FO. It smells pretty bad but apparently it works. I bought some but haven't gotten to use it yet. They make one for M&P soap and one for lotions so make sure to buy the correct one. HTH
  5. Wow- That looks and sounds like a really nice soap!!
  6. I think all pink sugar eventually turns to brown. Very nice tho!
  7. I would be interested in a shaving cream base too. Would you mind posting the link? Thanks!
  8. My fave from there is red velvet cake- Just Yummy!!!
  9. Yep, I have some and it does work but have heard it can clog pores- But it does work! You could also try something like dryflow (a special form of cornstarch) to help cut the gressyness. It's what I usually prefer. I like to get my butters and oils from http://oilsbynature.com/ but many also use http://www.columbusfoods.com/
  10. I requested online about a year or so ago and promptly recieved a box with very good sizes sent to me about 2lbs each!! I don't recall them calling but I also dont usually answer my home phone or check messages much. I have recieved some surveys by email but thats it so far. I don't sell as yet and listed my business name as "Lara's Handmade" (Very original- I know :embarasse) and they still sent the samples out. But there policies may have changed.
  11. If you can find what you want somewhere else, I would go elsewhere. I have only heard bad things about this place. I bet if you searched there name would find plenty of horror story posts.
  12. WSP has oil based colorants. http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/StoreCategory.aspx?CategoryID=763&CategoryName=Dyes+for+Oils I have also used oil based candy colorant for personal use.
  13. I think there cotton candy is super!!! No "eraser like" note like some of the other brands i've tried!

  18. Yes very nice- I love the soap stamp. if you don't mind me asking what did you use to color the cucumber melon? I know you wanted it to be green but its a beautiful shade of blue!
  19. *faint* Oh God- why in the hell would anyone want a garlic scented candle! The thought of that almost makes me sick- I HATE the smell of garlic! Now a gasoline or exhaust fume scented candle.... Thats a whole different story
  20. I would have answered your question but now that I saw your second post I think I'm too much of a snob to help you out! In future you may want to give it more than an hour before you start name calling. On a nice Sunday afternoon not everyone is sitting at home on there computers
  21. I have samples of a couple of there bases and they are very nice!
  22. Umm, color me stupid but do you guys mean actual soy wax- like the kind used to make candles? I think you mean soy shortening -like the crisco type stuff but I just want to make sure? I though that was hydrogenated soy oil. If you do mean actual soy wax what kind of a bar of soap does it make?
  23. I love your swirls- Your soap looks great!! :highfive:
