  1. Actually I found instructions that I understood at the dish.
  2. NM found what I was looking for.
  3. Stupid question, but how do you make a master batch of lye? I just make 2lb batches of soap and mix lye every time, pita-it would be nice to make a big ol'batch that would last me for a while.
  4. I have some from WSP, PM me if you're interested.
  5. Can I put mp embeds in cp soap? I think I saw a thread once that someone said they did & it worked, but wouldn't you know I can't find that thread again......
  6. Where is it at in wal-mart, I checked @ 2 different super walmarts in the laundry soap aisle, the only thing I found was the borax. Wow I never heard of just throwing a wad of aluminum foil in the dryer, how does that work?
  7. Where in the heck can I find washing soda? ? ?
  8. Ditto, but the first thought that popped in my head was dayum those look like awesome swirls, lol.
  9. I came accross these, maybe embed them in soap instead of rubber duckys?
  10. Ok great ideas so far, thanks, keep em coming, dammit, lol. The showers for my daughter, the baby is "supposed" to be a boy (when I had my sonogram for her, they told me she was a he). Yes I was def, thinking of a diaper cake-those are soo cute, and there are just so many games, krafty ideas, the hard part I think is to narrow it all down, lol. jldorrington, what's the tradition with the umbrella?:embarasse
  11. OK guys, go ahead let me have it...throw me ideas for decorations, themes, games, u name it, lol.
  12. I wanted to order a Kelsei a few months ago, emailed them, but never got a response. :undecided
  13. Ditto that-I gave up on them a long long time ago, lol.
  14. Putting the pieces closer together is a good tip- I did a coffee table top a few yrs ago(the pieces were spaced like yours) and it just didn't hold up too well at my house, the grout would break off. But then again I do have monster children who seem to find a way to break everything.........
  15. Not sure about that cuz I don't use the stove, I just melt my oils in the microwave, it works fine for me.
  16. Yay, I finally did it-I made two batches last night and one of them turned out nice & creamy. Still not sure exactly HOW I did it though, lol.
  17. Yanno I've had that happen lots of times, when I cut it, the middle will be alot lighter & change.
  18. Hmm BCS Holiday Wassail & NG Ylang Ginger-they just turned a funky brown color-soap smells good though, lol.
  19. Welllll my idea of "rebatching" is to cut em up in chunks and throw em in the next batch I make, lol-hey it works for me and always turns out looking kewl.
  20. After looking at all the awesome pics in the gallery I think I am pouring my soap in the mold too soon, it's never thick and creamy looking, I can never get the rippled looking tops on mine. I think as soon as I see the soap start to trace I panic and toss into the mold. How do you decide when it's time to pour, should I wait till it starts to look like pudding?
  21. I just soaped Ylang Ginger and it turned brown-although it does smells great.:undecided
  22. ummm...I'm not a juice drinker-they have carrot juice in the grocery store, or do you have to go to an organic grocery store?:embarasse
  23. I like them, however I think they should be thicker- you might try cutting the edges with the scrape booking scissors, there's tons of different designs and not having a straight line might make the bands blend into the soap, KWIM?
  24. Thanks!! I understood perfectly & I think you have solved my problem!
