    I cant pour it anymore because it just gags me but the one time I did, everyone said it smelled like cheap weed! I thought it smelled like sweaty balls and just couldnt handle it but they seemed to think it was fairly close.

    I think it is a great question! Is your scale accurate? If you're using a scale, it should come out to the same weight in flakes as when its melted, I would think. Not a stupid question at all...

    I do 8 and 16 oz tins... I do most of my 8's for wickless.

    I think you need to cut back on the fo a little. I only use 1oz pp of wax and they have great throw, cold and hot and as far as the wet spots, I think everyone has had those a time or two and its not a big deal. I use J225 and dont get them too often but when I do, I dont worry about it. Next time you're in a store, check out the candles they have...75% of them have wet spots. Before I started making my own, I never paid attention to wet spots when I bought Candles. I wouldnt worry about those.

    I dont work with soy anymore but yes, I was using dye. And I had this happen with dye from 3 or 4 different suppliers so I cant narrow it down to one supplier. I was hoping some of the experts on the board would chime in.

    I do both tins and glass containers but sell more tins than glass by far.

    I will 4th the Creme Brulee'! And I love Bear Claws OOB, but cannot pour or burn it Ive just recently found out! And Peaks Mary Jane is the most disgusting thing Ive ever smelled in my life. Hate to say this on the board but it smells like sweaty balls!

    When I first started making Candles, I used soy and this happened to me with quite a few different fo's. Pineapple or Banana would turn pink while burning, etc so Im curious to see what the answer to this is!

    Yes, either try pouring when its a little thicker or I use suspension base.

    At one time I had a list I printed off the internet that gave you different f/o's to mix to come up with certain scents but cant find it now. Does anyone know where you can find these?
