  1. It's a 'RED BRICK' Colorant...I'm not sure which brand....Sorry
  2. Can you use The Body Shop's Satsuma oil in CP Soap? Does it work well? I'm looking for an orange scent! If not, what other FO's smell like orange even though the name of it says nothing to do with oranges?
  3. Bunny, what would I do without you girl! I think I'm going to do that Blue one you were talking about! I appreciate your help! I'm just not sure I have any orange FO. I'll have to peek around in the ol stash of billions I have in the basement! :highfive:
  4. This is the Strawberry Daquiri Soap I was inspired to make from all of you. Unfortunately it didn't go as red as I hoped. Quite pink really. I only added a few poppy seeds for 'strawberry seeds' and added coarse sea salt for the 'sugar' of the Daquiri rim. Ah well, it'll do.
  5. I guess there's no harm on seeing how it goes. Plus if you have better deals, or specials you never know......... You may do better right off the bat. Also you being in the front of the store will help. I would be upset though......
  6. Now those are cool! Great color too! Gotta have me some a that! LOL:highfive:
  7. Your bars are beautiful. What an amazing color!!Oh, sorry I'm Canadian.....Bulk Barn is a Canadian company obviously! LOL I made the daquiri soap. Posting pics tonight once cut.
  8. I want to order some FO's from The Candle Source off Ebay. What are the 5 BEST SCENTS, I wouldn't be disapointed with when making CP soap?
  9. So fresh looking! Great Green Color! I bet it smells wonderful!
  10. I absolutely love that color! I bet it will look great! What a cool mold! What are the dementions? I need to make one and that looks great for the size I want !!!
  11. Bitter Creek Candle Supply, Inc. "GINGER PLUM SPECIAL" Does anyone have this? It totally reminds me of something else! Not what the name suggests! Like Candy......WHAT IS IT??????????????????
  12. What a great idea for the 'blue rocks'.......... I actually thought they were rocks! Great Packaging Idea too!
  13. OKAY YOU GIRLS CONVINCED ME! I'm making Strawberry Daquiri Soap tonight! I will make one more 'summer drink' inspired soap and then sell as a Summer Drink 3 pack of Soap. What a fabulous Idea! I just have to think of another 'drink' that I have a FO for..... I don't have any coconut......I'll have to get looking at what I do have. So I'll be back tomorrow night with pics of my Strawberry Daquiri Soap. I doubt it will turn out as pretty as the Tequila Lime but we'll see!
  14. I love it that you put your child's name on it! I never would have thought of that! Might not work too well if your kid had an unusual name though. What a wonderful product
  15. Oh perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Bunny! Could you get that at say...The Bulk Barn or something?
  16. Thanks girls! I am most proud of this soap! My daughters' friend said it smelled like a green popsicle. I don't have enough FO to make another batch! Maybe .5 oz! (Cry...sniff....) Since I've gotten some great responses here, I think I'll make a Strawberry Daquiri Soap........very summery! Do you think I really could put a chunkier sugar on the top of it??????? Or should I just stick with the lemon zest? Any other suggestions?
  17. Because I now make 'toiletries' ......... (for those who read my post a week back, you'll have a nice laugh) I thought I'd make some bath salts, just for Mother's Day to put in my Mother's Day baskets/Boxes. I'm not giving it out in this green tin, it is just for display. The labels are easier to read than the picture shows! It is scented Peaks Vanilla-Hazelnut. Thankyou to 'LiveLoveBath' for her ideas and help. She's the best!
  18. This is the 'Pumpkin Pie' scent that everyone who smelled the FO said it was a spicy butterscotch. So I decided they were right and to call it "SPICED BUTTERSCOTCH". I really love the color...just like butterscotch! I made it with 100% Soymilk - I think this was a big mistake.... I added the lye to the slushy soymilk as I've done before but this soap just doesn't seem right. I can't smell the FO in the soap, I smell the soymilk!
  19. Here is a picture of an awesome scented soap! It is scented TEQUILA LIME. Although, I'm not sure I want to stick with that name....... Any suggestions? I put dried lemon zest on the top to resemble 'the salt of a margarita' (they do put salt on the top don't they?)
  20. Oh those look to die for! I think that would smell heavenly! Great job!
  21. I love the labels too.......That black looks great! The colors are fabulous! I like the idea of the glass jar and then the sample size!
  22. They are wonderful! They don't even look like rebatches! I'm definately doing something wrong!!!!!!
  23. What a nice job! I like the color too! Glad you found a tool that works for you! Isn't it the best thing when that happens!:highfive:
