  3. No way, that is the color that I want to do my bathroom in. I totally need tiles that look just like that candle! You rock, your candle rocks, and that candle is too beautiful to even burn!
  4. Ohh, I dig that color. I love that wax too. Great job, beautiful candle.
  5. That waxis beautiful. I love the translucency of it. Awesome!
  6. Those are extremely beautiful. The colors remind me of fall, and that is a beautiful mold.
  7. Hey, those are really good. I am jealous, dude..you've got skills.
  8. Those look elegant. I love the colors, they would go perfect in my bathroom.
  9. They look really super great. I have to try palm wax one of these days.
  10. Wow those colors are really vibrant. The tops of your votives do have a sink hole, but again, the colors are beautiful.
  11. Well, since I hate to waste, I would try to save it by letting it harden and then griding it up and putting the grindules in with a new soap. LIke embed them in to the next bar, by adding about 1 cup per pound of soap. LIke confetti soap, I dont know if it would work though, I have never tried it. But if that happned to me, that is what I would try. i can't promise anything.
  12. If there is any amount of lye that is not disolved it will eat the aluminum. I have never had this happen, but once I put HP in one of those non-stick mini-loaf pans and it ate the non-stick stuff right off and I had flakes of it in my soap. It was nasty. I even had lye eat the painf of of the inside of a presto pot while it was cooking, leaving black things in my soap. Thats why I use a crock pot now..haha. But you can use anything for a MP mold, I would avoid for CP & HP like everyone said. Aluminum would be ok for HP but if there is the slightest amount of lye not dissolved, it will eat ahole in the alumnium. So, if you do it make sure your soap is fully cooked.
  13. Welcome here and we all have serious addictions here, so your questions will just help us satiate our need to discuss shop.
  14. I do not do CP but when I do HP I always add the coloing last. I find that it stayes truer to the "bottle color" if I add it last because it has less time to have a chemical reaciton with the lye.
  15. Well then we are all crazy because I do the same thing evertime I make soap. I never wait to try the first bar from the batch. But I alway wait at least 48 hours before giving away any bars or selling them. Soap is like fine wine, it gets better with age....hmm...maybe I should write that on my packaing??!!?
  16. Wow, those are so beautiful. I want one, please??!
  17. Wow, they got a lot darker. But I like the color. It is deep and beautiful. I also like the thickness of your cut.
  18. Well,if you use too much your MP will be to soft and your bars will be a bunch of much. Do not add more that a tablespoon per pound of MP or you will have a mess on your hands.
  19. If you have never made soap before, then you may want to try Melt and pour just to get some practice. play with it and then start using additives. After you learn the properties of the addtives and what they do to the later of the soap, then start playing with lye aka real soap.
